Only have had it for a couple months now, but just getting the lift/wheels/tires/flares w/labor will be $10k+. Hopefully that will be the last significant spend on this truck because it has everything else.
I’d love to see the finished product can you post a couple of pictures

Here’s one for now. I bought some BW fender flares and about to pick them up from being painted. Once I put those on i’ll take an updated pic.

Are you selling your factory flares?
I could… haven’t got that far in my thought process. I thought the bushwhackers would go right over these.

I’m assuming you’d like them? if so how much would you want to buy them for? and I’d have to figure out shipping.

My last truck was a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega-Cab 2 WD with the 5.9L Cummins Turbo Diesel. It was heavily modified with over 600 HP and about 1200 ftlb torque. It was really fast for its weight and was a blast to drive. I loved that truck and I would have drove it forever. I spent well over $25K in modifications and then It got totaled in an accident. Even though it was 100% the other guys fault, his insurance would not pay anything for my mods and super low-balled me on value. I ended up going through my insurance and they paid for some of my mods, but not much. I’ll modify my trucks very moderately from now on. Plus, gas motors cost way too much to modify compared to diesels. I’ve maybe spent a couple thousand on my current truck so far and don’t really plan on spending much more.

Wow that’s an absolutely amazing truck. Sorry to hear it had a sad ending

Where are you located? I would be interested. I believe you have to remove them to install the aftermarket ones.

I've never spent a lot on mods, but with insurance, does it work like your house? If you increase the value, can you notify the insurance company and they'll increase your coverage (and premium?)

You should update your avatar pic with the new wheels/tires.
