2021 ram rebel 12 inch radio.
finding all kinds of guessing and no real specific info.
if you have done this please post your replies. thank you

i am installing roof wing and i think the fin is in the wa.
also i need more clearance for my garage opening.

You would lose the am/fm radio antenna, and gps for navigation and clock.

And SiriusXM radio.
Yup, that too I forgot.
Also, maps on CarPlay will be incorrect, since CarPlay uses the truck’s gps for all map apps, not the phone’s native gps.

I'm confused about the needing more garage clearance when you say you're adding a wing.

What kind of wing are you adding?

no that is not the problem.
the shark fin is in the way of the wing.
the shark fin is also a problem with garage opening.
i want to remove the shark fin and install the wing.

WiFi won’t be lost. That is handled by the cellular antenna under the dash behind the radio, and the WiFi antenna by the glovebox.
Just to be sure I checked the service manual. Jimmy07's response is correct.

Sounds like it's not worth it for a stupid wing
Well, the EGR product does not require the removal of the shark fin.

This is what I was trying to figure out also.
there was no clear picture of this from the top looking down.
somtimes it is so hard to find the answer to the question at hand.
thanks for the info.

I just want the ability to switch off or disable the shark fin antenna when I want.

I wonder if the wiring would allow you to move the fin forward?

Malodave
that is one option but it is the highest point on the truck and i was looking for a low profile or some sort of disc shape.
if it is not in the way of the spoiler it is no rush but when i change my wheels it might be a problem.
