What did you do to your Ram today???

Noticed recently that the tinted overlay I installed on the 3rd brakelight looked like **s. Finally decided to remove it. I was expecting a real challenge, thought it would come off in 900 tiny pices, it was actually the opposite- it peeled off in almost one piece. Seems odd that it appeared shrunk and split, evidently that was just one layer of the overlay.

Someone sold you cheap quality tint film

Dropped my daughter off at a friend's house today and noticed a whole Lotta squeaking from the front end when turning (worse when stationary).

No telling how long that's been going on (my music is always super loud). Just had the radio off today as we talked along the way.

Need to go figure that out now.

I would be curious what the culprit is, if you find it. I have been chasing a squeak in the front end for weeks. Spraying silicone on every bushing I can find. Haven't fixed it yet.

I still wasn't happy with the ram box alignment so I readjusted them again. The gaps and the height of the top of lid with the bed rails was fine but the sides were not even or flush with the bed side.

I removed the screws from the ram box lid and elongated the screw holes in black plastic trim cover. 1000009827.jpg

Now the bottom and the sides of the ram box lid line up with the bedside body panel.

I can appreciate and like the usefulness of the ram boxes but I've never liked them because of the alignment issues. I shouldnt not have to spend this much time fixing this, Ram should have gotten this right on the assembly line

This is the reason I've never liked ramboxes, they almost always seem misaligned. I found that there's a tool and instructions to correct this so I bought the mopar tool 2069900230 and adjusted mis-aligned ramboxes. My trucks passenger side was far worse than the driver

I found a new tool on ebay and bid $65 and it was accepted

Also found the 10MM ram box lid screws barely finger tight, adjusting them will allow you to move the doors in or out 1/4" helping them to sit flush with the body line. I'll probably mess with the driver side a little more to get it closer but both sides took about 30 min with the tool
How much was the tool and where did you get it from?

Went to a camping event hosted by Toyo Tires over the weekend.
Noticed somehow I get direction on the dash now when using Google Maps... previously this was only limited to using Apple Maps.
Not sure how I feel about that.

Then proceeded to blow up the toilet in my friend's slide-in camper.
Marti was staring while I was blowing up the toilet so... that was awkward.
