What did you do to your Ram today???

I have had a few repaired. Depending on the severity and what they have to do. Mine were just curb rash and it cost me as low as $75 to $175. (CAD)
Thanks to all of y’all for the advice on the repair. I think I’ll call around today and see how much it will cost I seen that Discount Tire does repair as well. I wonder what they would charge? I’ll give them a call and ask I reckon. Keep y’all posted.

I NEED TO FRESHEN UP MY RUNNING BOARDS, SUCKY PART IS THEY ARE THE OEM MOPAR POWER ONES AND NOT SO EASY TO TAKE OFF
Prep work takes time. I think it takes less than 5 minutes to spray a coat on the brackets. Perhaps the best approach is to do what you can in place and put some PPF in places.

Installed the banks pedal monster. Straightforward installed process and I have it set to city three which is a notable improvement in acceleration. It definitely takes that lag out of the pedal, which is all I was after. I also used the OBD splitter linked below to clean up the install, so I didn’t worry about hitting the connector.IMG_6188.jpeg

Obd port splitter, with a nearly flush mount female end so you dont smack it with your foot.

Nice clean install

Pushed the start button and the engine didn’t seem to start. Pushed it again. Pushed it a third time still thinking the engine hadn’t started. Then looked at the tach and it was running. The engine start up is so smooth with the hurricane that I didn’t notice it was running. That and my crappy hearing combined with the radio.

Well I'm not sure. I don't drive it that often and usually don't rely on the parking sense. Is there something specific that could have an issue with larger tires? This is the first I've heard about it. The tazer adds great features, though not very user friendly. I have to keep a cheat sheet in the truck, and logged all my changes. Folding mirrors are a game changer; not sure why they didn't make that stock. When setting your tire size, compare it to your GPS speed for accuracy. I download a GPS app on my phone.
So I reached out to ZAutomotive about the park sense issue to get an idea of what size tire is too big before you start losing the oem park features. They said the highest tire size is 33.34" without having any issues with park sense. That doesn't mean you can't go higher and still keep full functions but they said each truck and year varies so that is the safe number.

I just installed the TazerDT last night and set it to 33.34" even though my tires are closer to 34.5" but wanted to see how close speed was. I was off 3mph at 80MPH which is livable but I may still play around with getting it closer and identify what tire size my parksense stops working. The plug in kit will fix this but trying to avoid more cost if I dont need it.

Also, I'm pretty sure the park sense feature is just the chime alerting your close to something (front/rear). I have 360 camera so If I'm relying on a chime to prevent me from hitting something, I shouldn't be on the road to begin with haha.

Love my amber running lights, auto power folding mirrors, and the 3 honk kill! Definitely worth the buy!

I used my park sense, when it worked, along with the Tazer park cam.setring to help park in my garage. It's a tight fit. The Tazer turned on the rear camera when park sense went off, and I use my back up camera to hit my mark for clearing garage door without pulling in too far and hitting my Dakota in the back of garage .

Since I can't use that feature anymore, I have my back up camera as one of the icons on bottom of 12" display and have to reach over and tap the button to turn on the back up camera. Just an extra step now

Sounds like you can reduce the tire size to 33.34" to get the park sense working again if your willing to deal with speedo being off.

Or spend the $225 for the kit from Z automotive. This is definitely good information for guys increasing tire sizes!

I had no issue with the park sense. Mine is working properly. Yes, the tazer mods are wonderful. Sound like we like the same things... I made the same mods!
