What did you do to your Ram today???

I’m sorry I had to reply to this.
I realize a lot of peeps hate HOAs, however, if you lived next door to the trashy axx dude I live next to, you’d pray for one! I live out of the city limits in Joshua, Tx and this clown next door for almost 20 years hasn’t painted, planted a bush or shrub, tossed some white axx dusty rock as a driveway that gets all over my cars and truck daily, and continues to make our nice neighborhood look worse and worse regularly! Nicest guy in the world, but dumb as a box of rocks! Has no clue what his filthyness does to all our home values. So many things I wanna say about him here but it’ll get taken down quickly. So count your blessings for your HOA. Wish I had one!
And no one says anything to him?

I nailed a curb today. I mean, pretty damn good too. Luckily it was straight on at super low speeds, but I heard it and gave that "oooof" face immediately.

As I was pulling out into the street to turn into that driveway there are vehicles on both sides of me parked on the curbs and oncoming traffic that turned onto the road just after I did wasn't slowing to let me through so they could squeeze by so I had to stop and they got all aggressive like I was supposed to move for them to get by. There was zero space and if I had turned onto that road after they did I would have waited until they passed to put myself in that position - or even if I saw them turning onto the road at all, but nope, too late I was already there and they should have just let me turn in. Too much for their ego to handle apparently. They even did a small jerk of the wheel towards me as they aggressively squeezed passed. So that's why I really nailed it, I was a bit distracted by a moron. I hate other drivers and I hate bad roads.

Got out, checked everything out, turned the wheels etc etc... All seems okay but definitely not a good hit for the CV's or the wheel. Watched the dash cam and that poor passenger in their truck was clearly on my side of things too. She just kinda made that petrified face and grabbed the dash and the "oh :poop: " handle. Sorry lady... your husbands a DB. Wanna guess what the bumper stickers were too?

Tell me more... 🤔
I installed the Chulk's heater bypass.
I've had this truck a couple years now and never liked how hot the trans ran, especially when towing the rv. It was never below 170 or thereabouts when just out and about.

Yesterday I took it out for the the first drive. We live out in the country and I needed to run pick a few things up at the closest store, about a 20 mile round trip with two stop offs.
It was 80 degrees, not too humid. Average speed would have been about 50mph.
The trans temp never got above148 degrees.
This to me is the best best addition I've done to the truck!

Degree of effort required? Much of a mess post-install?

I’d get your wheel alignment checked. You may not notice anything when driving, but it may show up later with premature tire wear. Just a thought. 😎

Ideally you want to trans temps to run between 160-180. This allows the fluid to get hot enough to gas off any water that may be interesting the fluid. Too cold is just as bad for the transmission and fluid as too hot. My truck with the new PPE pan will run about 170-175 under normal driving. I haven't towed anything since it was installed

you are just asking for trouble.

When buying a new house in 2021 my first no was a hoa. No way I would ever live in hoa. Found nice homes in hoa, but too many rules makes you feel like it is not your own, is almost like renting. Ended up buying a farm house on 2.5 acres in a rural seperation area. Can have cows, chickens, goats etc without even asking the county and I am not in rural area, just separates city of 500,000 from another city. For same price I could have found larger or nicer home in hoa, but knew too many people personally that had hoa issues. Just takes a few months when your health declines and some little thing you get nagged about. Or the hoa doesn't do right, my mother is almost 80, lives in condo with hoa, her neighbor is jerk and the condos now are 80% rentals, she owns and nothing is ever done.

at 11PM:
looked at my leaky washer bottle to see if it's a loose connection causing the leak or a crack on the bottle. Couldn't see anything. Determined if I was gonna take the bottle out to check I might as well just replace it.
Started to take apart the front, then 15 minutes later as I got the grille loose I realized I need to remove the LP9s on the bumper to fully remove the front to gain access. Reconsidered my options, and decided I can probably live with leaky washer bottle and refilling it every 4-5 days until I get annoyed enough to remove the whole front end. said F it and put everything back and called it a night.

also i found like 20 dead bees (road kills from Alaska trip) and heavy layer of dust/ dirt in the front. i'll hose all that when I redo it... just don't know when.

oh also upgraded my wireless charger in the OE phone holder location (I do not have the MOPAR wireless charger, never did. I just put a wireless charger there) and upgraded the 110v -> USB-C adapter. Now i have true 15w wireless charging on my iphone. Never understand why people with wireless carplay/ android auto need to put their phone on the top with dash mounts so they can see it...

Not bad at all once you disconnect the front drive shaft.
My only torx sockets are 1/2" dive, which were a pain removing the sshifer cable bracket.
I used PB blasteroneverything I including the cap in the heater last week, and then I wire brushed the cap to make sure it came out ok.
After the c clip was removed, I pushed on it a coupleti sand attempted to grab it with needle nose, but was afraid to mess it up if it didn't come out.
Then, all of a sudden it popped out underthe springs pressure!
I had the truck upon ramps, on the drivers side. Very little fluid came out.
I second guessed the reseating of the c clip, and had to do it twice.
reinstalled evrything in reverse order.
