My patience has finally paid off lol. Another work trip and another week long rental. Rental place offered me a jeep, and again I thought they were going to pull the Renegade stunt..

The Ram lost out on this trip. While we’re on a Jeep thing, I hauled mine out to Kootaney Lake, BC to go watch the Lumberjack Competition and glamped with a view.

They are great for DD. Even with a 3.5" lift and 37's. Guess some people just cant handle it

2.5" and 35s here, doorless and roofless from Memorial day to Labor day minimum, work and back. Last year went from March to well into deer season.

can confirm they're great for DD if done properly.
i know because our shop owner corrected a few that were done by techs who don't know how to set up Jeeps.

first wash in months...

then practice opening the shower tent. obviously i got no place to stake it down on concrete so it dances in the wind.
but hey I just found out it has a LED strip there powered by USB so I can shower/ sh*t at night without needing a headlamp!


Opened the 1 of the 2 care packages sent by Decked Drawers. It's called D-Bag. It's got bag in a bag! Bag-ception!
I'll be using it to store drones and camera gears instead of shoving it into the drawer like it's designed to.
The second care package sent by Decked Drawers is the Battle Mat. That will be reserved until I figure out how to build a drawer/ shelf system on top of the drawers.

Summer approaching meaning no need for 0 degree sleeping bags anymore (at least for the trip this weekend)
which means I can throw my sleeping gears on the "loft" that I just put in and ditch one storage box.
I'm liking this look more so hopefully the "loft" can hold my winter bag too.

Also I started picturing how the "shelf" will be like. The goal is to hide the battery box and mount the electrical stuff on the front panel (that I also need to build). Lord, forgive me, because as someone who strongly stands against chinese made 12v controllers like auxbeam, I am considering getting a auxbeam for the camper while I move everything.
or i just stick with the system i built because it's a lot better in quality lol

Today I put on new OEM black emblems/badges! Looks good without the chrome. Now I want the OEM black chrome exhaust tips lol. Damn you money.. Why don't I have more of you!
