I picked this new to me 2022 1500 Bighorn up today. I'm coming from a 2016 F150 and just couldn't pass this deal up. I'm looking forward to making it a little more my own.

Welcome, and congratulations on your purchase. Hope you enjoy it over many years. That's a 6 foot bed right?

With this screen protector talk as of the last few posts, I meant to apply a tempered glass one when I got my truck. Been a month since I had it so I've been slacking but talked myself to not wait for the weekend and to install it after work. And so I did. This is the one I purchased: Amazon.com

And here are the results. It helps to be patient and to have slight OCD when it comes to precise things. By trade I'm a CNC programmer/machinist so I got that covered in spades.

does it mess with the responsiveness of the screen?

Traded it in. Nah, just what I got for a loaner. My buddy at the dealership said they run it everywhere basically because nobody wants it and it's impossible to sell. It was brand new, but now has 12,000 miles on it. Still has the window sticker in the back window. 32k msrp . Not surprised it's not selling.

Got the chase/bed lights wired up and working properly with the red backlit function.

The white light is powered by the switch controls.

Red backlit turns on with brakes, signals, and hazards.

Not super bright in direct sunlight but overall I'm happy with them. Some pics are direct sunlight and dusk. Still kinda feel like it's a little much but ehh
