Installed The Bracksteer to hold my fire extinguisher under the driver's seat. Have been looking for a good solution to mount my fire extinguisher, in the cab, that didn't require drilling or making holes for the mounting bracket. This one attaches to the seat rails with set screws. And truck is dirty because it's been a couple months sinceast car show, and it hasn't been getting the same attention since then.

Thanks! ive read a TON on them, and had the airlift 1000 bags in the gladiator. I haven't pulled my camper with this ram yet so im taking it slow with towing upgrades and the like. It’s a 30ft 6,000lbs TT with 715lbs ( +/-) of tongue weight. I know the sumos make a difference is purposing so they were an easy low hanging fruit sort of grab...but im way let down that they are in contact with the axle already...my old JT ones sat a good bit over the axle and only engaged when I had a load on the rear which was perfect. From what I was reading last night the knock offs are softer than the Timberns and will sit where I want them for now. They arrive sunday night so we will see, but the sumos come off when I get home from work

I had the Airlift 1000HD’s on my 2020 Ram 1500 and I hated them. The ride was stiff and very bouncy, even with the air pressure at the recommended min. 5 psi. Seems like you have a good plan.

I had them on my Rebel. I wouldn't say I hated them, but I'm much happier now that I have the Timber Groves.

Did the Bracketeer kit include the rubber straps or are those part of the cradle for the extinguisher?

Those are part of the fire extinguisher holder that was separate.

Just get some helpers FOR those bags and you'll be fine. Just make sure you tell them "LIFT!... don't drag..."

According to Tire rack, 18's are only a dollar cheaper.

275/65-18 = $285.99/each
275/55-20 = $286.99/each
285/45-22 = $349.99/each

I just bought another set of Michelin Defender LTX's in 305/45-22 and they were $1600, not including the alignment afterwards. Michelin is offering a rebate in the form of a Visa card but it was only $70.

True, but are they LT rated, yes they have a harsher ride, but it is a 2500 the OP's installing them on. I'm not going to do research for the 18's, but the 20's are not LT rated.

Went with the coil overs after a bunch of hemming and hawing, best bang for the buck all things considered. The stock Hitachis were never that great and my next set of tires will probably be bigger. Will eventually get a Tazer and maybe find some eBay specials for the tail lights or just some Lastfit bulbs. The Ram Air was a fleeting thought, a lot of money and not much in return
