Installed my Mishimoto oil catch can. They say one and a half hours, but the actual install takes about 30 minutes, and then another 30 minutes to get the damn engine cover back on. Took at least 20 tries, to get the two tabs in back to line up.:ROFLMAO:
funny you say that about the cover. I put my catch can on and had the same problem with the cover. Got pissed and just put it in the garage. A couple of weeks later, I grabbed it and it took about 2 tries and it was in..

nothing much.
since my RTT is spoken for by a customer (he just needs to wait for his lights to come in so we can do his electrical first before putting the RTT on his 4Runner) I am moving up my final upgrade for the truck up the time line.
Working on removing the RTT and the bed rack this weekend.

That said, if you are interested in the bed rack please lmk. I upgraded all the nuts, washers, and bolts to grade 8 corrosion resistant ones and torqued every single one of them to 30lb/ft. That's over 100 nuts and bolts to torque. Bed rack comes with red LED strips in the cross channels, as well as third brake light.
Rack is currently located in SoCal.

Finally got my driver side visor replaced via warranty. Thing fell one day with the wires ripped from the harness.

Noticed my BDS front driveshaft spacer was hitting the swaybar…no clue why since I have the swaybar drops installed. Taking it to my mechanic Tuesday to see what’s up. Anybody else with BDS lifts have the same issue?

Small things
1- hellwig moved to stiffest setting
2- after months of just sitting in a box. Finally Installed a hitch recovery receiver and shackle
3- removed the skeerdy cat shield to cut off a rectangular opening. It had been sitting againts the swaybar, I noticed this a while back but was too lazy and i started to hear a grinding noise and decide it was time. I got mine from the very first batch out, from what i know the shield was redesign to avoid this issue.
I attached pics for reference. It was eating into the paint.
In the end the sound still there and will have to keep looking at other possible things making the grinding sound. I only seem to notice the sound at slow turns and even more noticeable when i enter and exit my carport that is an an incline while turning

Got some new Mickey Thompson Baja boss ATs in 285/55r22 and installed today. My Toyo at3s were great, got 50+miles (80 thousand km) out of them and they still have 9/32 left after 2 years of city, bush and gravel road driving. These Mickey's seem great, nice aggressive tread pattern, 3 snowflake rating, good siping, aggressive sidewall. So far they are quiet, well balanced and only weigh 5 pounds more per tire. They are always 34.6" O/D and the Toyo at3s were 34.2

My wife says that extra 0.4” makes a big difference.
