MOTOMVR took a 500 mile drive down to PA this weekend to attend a 3 day dual sport event. Solo drive this time with just one motorcycle.

Is that a more shallow version of the locker down safe?? In All the pics I’ve seen it looks like it comes almost all the way up to the underside of the top shelf. Yours looks like it’s way down at the bottom (which is nice) but I don’t see any options for that listed on their product pages.

You have a good eye… it is shallower because of the limited trim and the sliding center console. All the ‘regular’ safes would have interfered with the sliding portion.

not sure if it will fit a non-limited truck…. Don’t see why it wouldn’t

Getting ready to go on a family camping trip. Realized that the bed of the truck in someways is less space than the back of a minivan. Removed the Gator soft tonneau cover to install a Yakima Overhaul HD rack for a Yakima Sky Box. I had hoped it would be easy to swap between the cover and the rack, but the rack is a pain in the a$$ and not just a 5 minute job. I looked into which cover would allow the racks to stay on, bit that’s a little more than I can spend at the moment.

I know it’s too late now but for others thinking about doing this…. These bars work with most soft tonneaus.

i think I’m gonna get a set soon…

Interesting. I have the G/T interior so from most of what I’ve read my console is essentially the TRX console due to the shifter and the No sliding piece. They have that version I’m just holding off for now since it’s just my assumption and not really confirmed that I’ve seen yet.

Those look too low to let a roll-up cover like a Revolver or Sentry to roll up. I can't see how they would work with the factory tri-fold cover, either. As in, couldn't open up the tri-fold all the way. Maybe I'm just missing something...

I just checked these out. Kinda interested. They offer a 5" and 8" tall version. 8" should work with my soft roll up cover. However, my RTT is about 4" longer than the bed. Got to think about this. Had been thinking a hard roll up with T slots and cab height rack.

No, these would not work for a tri-fold.

Just got back from camping and the truck was gross inside, with 3 kids and 2 dogs I should not be surprised :ROFLMAO:

here is what came out of the seats...

Dirty water.jpg

Next, I have been battling an oil leak from the filter. I used the MOPAR filter as I have with all my oil changes and no matter how tight I could get the filter, it still leaked oil.

Went ahead and changed the filter to a Mobil 1 and the leaking has stopped so I guess I had a bad filter?

Getting a bad dimter happens from time to time. The first time I used a Wix filter, on my Dakota, after hearing everyone rave about them, I had a leak from filter. I have never had an issue with the Mopar filters. I do use WIX on my wife's Traverse.

Just picked up the truck last week and already swapped so much.

Vinyl wrap tint all around (Hot AF here)
Swapped horrid 18” stock rims for 20” Moto Metal blades in black with machine face wrapped in Pirelli scorpion 3 tires.
Added Black running boards.
Swapped tail lights with Spyder LED (black inner)
Swapped stock headlights with Spyder LED Projectors
Added Gator Tonneau.
Complete interior LED bulb swap.

All of that in just over a week! Still got more to do!

This week I put auxito LED low beams, high beams and fogs. Also did ceramic tint. 32% on windshield, 4% fronts and 18% over factory backs View attachment 135482 View attachment 135483
When you replaced all the bulbs with Auxito, Was it true plug and play? Did all the dust covers fit back on? How bad was the job, did you have to go through the wheel wells?
