I’ve been posting over the last few weeks about my truck making some kind of gurgling / tick sound when it’s just coasting until I just barely accelerate. I think it may be from the MDS. I turned on tow/haul (which I think disables MDS) and it didn’t make the sound the entire drive

you do know the mds can also be turned off by using the + and - on the right side of the steering wheel.
after moving forward push minus once then plus eight times. if you do not push plus eight times the truck transmission will stay in what ever number you stopped at

Dealer local to me has a TRX on the lot, hopefully it’s still available this weekend so I can take it for a test drive. I see them all over town but have yet to drive one or sit in one.

It’s a 2021, 10k miles, had a previous accident on the front passenger side, and is $10.5k over sticker. My exact factory build is going to be around the same price after taxes/fees as the one on this dealers lot

Today I compared my Laramie build with a Lightning F-150 as I got selected today to build. The costs came out to be 27K more expensive after EV rebates to purchase a similarly optioned vehicle. No thanks, that's like 5 years of gas, LOL. In all seriousness, I do have until April 29th to decide, but right now it looks like a big fat no.
You forgot the $10-20k dealer markup!

Holy moly. If you can wait, then you should consider ordering from one of the TRX-friendly dealers. Not sure where you're located, but even if you have to ship it a long ways, you'd still make out better. There are some dealers offering 4% below invoice.

Walk away. You are better off with the new one.

Yeah I just wanted to test drive it to get a feel for the TRX. The dealer I’ve been in contact with is Koons in Virginia and they’re doing 11% off MSRP for factory build orders

DO NOT TEST DRIVE THE TRX unless you're ready to spend the money. Because the from minute you experience the TRX's power, you'll never be able to look at your regular Hemi the same way again.

What am I doing today....going over manuals to see what oil I should order for my first oil change.

2019-2021 manuals say 5w-20 oil, my 2022 manual, and dip stick shows 0w-20 oil...so I'm having ocd issues with oil selection...lol.

But I'm sticking to the manual with 0w-20 even though I'm sooo used to ordering 5w-20.

2022 Ram Big Horn Back Country
2016 Dodge Charger scat pack
2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara
Use 5w-20 in the warm half of the year, 0w-20 in the cold half.

wait... we can test drive TRX's??????? :ROFLMAO:
Lol, if you can find one. But it's starting to sound like there are more available now. Lots of people backing out of orders (because they can't afford the gas). I'm starting to hear that the insane markups are softening.
