Thanks!
It wasn't too bad but I've done a lot of headlights in the past. An oscillating cutoff tool is a must.
If you take your time and be very careful how far you are cutting into them you will be fine, once the lens is off it's pretty easy.
Why did you choose that method over heating and separating?

These are Permaseal headlights, they don't work like the older Butyl sealed units.
You can heat them but it takes a VERY long time and you run a really high risk of damaging them, and most times they still won't come apart.

Nicely done. Yep so much easier cutting permaseal open inside of heating them up to separate.

Just replaced my corner dash speakers. The original stock ones have a larger magnet than 2019 models and I think sound slightly better, but the addition of the tweeter in the infinity speakers still make it sound a lot better. It took 6 minutes to replace them. ( Yes, I timed myself because I’m a nerd)

What were the ohms on the original speakers? 2ohms? Are the infinity speakers 2ohms as well? What system do you have in your truck, Alpine or HK?

Original are 2 ohms and the infinity speakers are claimed to be 3 ohms. I didn’t check impedence before installation though. I have an alpine system.

Met up with a fellow forum member. we both drove 3 hrs to meet in the middle. We then switched my front jump seat for his center console. Helped each other get them installed in each others trucks. Will add pictures to the main console sway thread here soon.

Finally finished up my lift. I’ve had a lot of different height combos, but this is my favorite by far! 4” BDS kit front and rear and Bilsteins set at 1.7” up front! 37s fit and don’t rub at all and the stance is just perfect in my opinion. 04055A2E-37C3-4359-A553-1028DAE0331C.jpeg

Blimpy stopped at work today.

And the more I look at those clear lenses makes me want to crack these lights open.

Looks like it would feel like you’re taking a shower if you walked across that field

I agree, it looks good. So you're saying the front is higher than the rear? At least in the main photo, it does look to be higher. Why do you prefer that, vs being level? So many others work at getting the truck level.

Rough country wheel well liners off amazon and a Mopar bed step I picked up from a forum member last week. Liners worth the 85 bucks just for the aesthetics (IMO). After slinging stubborn leftover 1" rocks from the duratracs at highway speeds upon leaving the mountains this weekend I feel they're absolutely worth it for practicality.

Yep the front is higher than the rear by 1.75”! It’s all just personal preference; I’ve always liked the SoCal prerunner look where the front is higher than the rear. And to be honest when a truck is dead level it looks like the rear is higher in my opinion.

I've always wondered about the front end high set up. I didn't know it was a prerunner look.

Yeah it’s super common in Southern California because of all the desert style trucks. It’s very different than the Carolina Squat though! Haha that is ridiculous how high they lift the front and lower the rear

Installed the Rigid Ignite diffused pods for aux reverse lights. Drilled a 1/4'' hole on the underside of the bumper, about 10'' out on either side of the hitch mount and 1/4'' in from the back edge of the bumper). Wired them into the driver's side rear light. Angled them down a bit, for now. They are pretty bright for how small they are. Turned out pretty good, I think. I will adjust them, properly, when it gets darker.

I’ve put in a cat-back Borla S-type. Doing so makes my factory black tips up for grabs. Looking for $175 Obro shipped. Pics included. Only on the truck from 23 June 2021 to yesterday. Came off my2021 limited. Shot of the 3 month old exhaust, already rusting (3 mos old!) not even any salt on the road yet! 675259BB-114D-4C6F-B4DA-C3001BF5CB5D.jpeg A59092FC-E0F5-47F1-8409-6C451DA4439D.jpeg 232E5E6B-2B2B-4450-8BDA-E94590905DA3.jpeg
