I decided to bypass the truck battery and run the wires inside the center console. I hooked it up to an 11 amp hour battery pack because I want to use parking mode and not worry about draining the truck battery. It works out great because there’s 120 V plug in there so the battery pack is charging when the truck is running. Everything is totally hidden when the drink holder tray is slid all the way forward

Do you use the the Nextbase app at all, e.g. reviewing videos? It looks like it's getting horrible reviews.

It could use some improvement. When it does connect to my phone it works great! I like to use the app on my phone when I have cargo in the back of the truck. I can see the full screen of the cargo from the rear camera on my phone. I highly recommend the ProClip phone mount. They make models specifically for each vehicle. The placement is perfect for the fifth generation Rams ( see attached picture ). It’s a perfect spot to keep an eye on your cargo ( bonus rear cargo cam ) from the rear camera on your phone. PM. me if you need help with installation. I can let you know what I did. I did NOT have to take apart the center consul or anything. Running the wires was very easy.

More photos of today's progress

Does the ProClip for the Ram cover the air vent at all?

I've had them in every car I've owned in the last decade. The mount for my old Camry was perfect, covered nothing, in the way of nothing. The mount for my Audi Q5 was slap bang on top of an air vent and for the 3 years I owned it, it drove me nuts.

If you look at the photos I included. When it’s horizontal it covers very slightly when you turn it sideways horizontal it covers the vent more. I put both angles in the photo so you can see

Figured I'd post my new topper from ATC. Model is the LEX. 1500 crew cab with the 6'4" bed. I personally scoured these forums for how toppers on other vehicles look, so to help someone else's search - here ya go. All things remain stock on the vehicle right now aside from the topper.

if its not too much trouble ... l would appreciate the pic's ... lm sure it will help others that will do a F-150 bed extender as well ... thx
Here are the install photos of the BedRug and Ford factory bed extender. I had a little trouble getting the grommets in the plunger holes because I tore them up a little ripping them out of my F-150. If I were to redo this install, I would purchase new grommets from Ford to make that part of the install far easier. I spent a little time reworking the tines on the grommets to get them to go into the holes for the plungers.

For the grommets for the plungers, I used a ½ drill bit, but had to widen the hole larger than ½ inch to get the plungers to sink. I did not have a larger drill bit and suspect one size larger would be perfect.

If you follow this install, be careful when drilling the bottom holes for the plungers and grommets. The wire harness for the taillights runs just about where the bottom holes are drilled about 1 inch away from the bed where you drill the holes. If you let the drill get away from you, it is possible to catch the wire harness and fray some wires.

I just added the TYGER auto star armor kit steps. Super easy and really fast install. $Did it all by myself although another set of hands could have helped a little. Mounted right to the factory bolts. Got it on amazon for $373.00 and it was delivered in 3 days. Im very happy with them. Also added the DASHmat cover and the DU-HA under seat storage bin with gun rack (also and amazon buy for $179.95) Another easy install and holds my BLM repellant.

Thanks again, and I just might PM if I have any Qs! I also purchased BOTH the Cabin and Rear View cameras thinking that both could be installed at the same time ... NOT! So I'll return the Cabin Camera as the Rear ("Cargo") View Camera is much more important to have. Take care!

Got my full-set of Lasfit lights. Tip to tail, including the elusive rear turn signals! Installing them later tonight! Try a couple things with the CHMSL as well..See if I can get that to interfere less with the Keyfob. Going to try and shield it. I’ll let you know results. D14D55CA-614D-47EF-9F3B-0F2F2BD96458.jpeg
I would say, super human lighting... it’s almost prob to much. Waiting to get yellow fog over-lays
