Does anyone know a part number for this lower trim piece that goes around the B pillar? I broke it installing my bed lights the other day and would like to order a new one.

Today I installed my Flowmaster Outlaw exhaust and upgraded all of my speakers to JL Audio C2's. The exhaust was super easy to install and was done in about 45 minutes start to finish. Truck now sounds awesome on startup with a nice low growl at idle. Took it on the highway real quick and there was a little bit of drone at certain RPM's but it wasn't too bad. I turned the radio on for a bit and couldn't hear the drone at all. My initial reaction is that I am happy with this product.

The speakers upgrade took alot more time to install but man was it worth it. The sound quality is greatly improved but to be totally honest it still lacking in the lows. The mids and Highs are crystal clear but this truck and system needs a subwoofer to fill in the sound and really make it special.

Love the work I did today but now I am going to spend the rest of the night researching what lift kit I am going to add and picking out some new shoes and 35's to put on. 20191109_164326.jpg 20191109_134251.jpg 20191109_134251.jpg 20191109_132755.jpg 20191109_164326.jpg 20191109_134251.jpg 20191109_132755.jpg 20191109_134251.jpg 20191109_123752.jpg

Which factory system do you have? Base 6? If you had the bass 6 speaker , did they have more bass than the stock speakers?

Yes I had the base 6 speaker package and Yes they do put out more bass then the original speakers do. The real enhancement in sound came to the way these speakers handle the incoming power though. I had the radio dial maxed out and the sound was crystal clear with almost zero distortion at full volume and the highs were super bright and clean. I had to actual adjust the eq down to zero on the mids and highs and have the bass at +3 to prevent the highs from sounding overly bright.

For me, what this system lacks is low end bass and for my taste that is not ever going to be satisfied until I add a subwoofer and the punch that it is missing. In my opinion the JL Audio C2's make the stock 6 speaker system sound as good as it can with out adding an amp and a sub. Now the question becomes do I want to add 1 or 2 JL audio 10" WT3 Subs and how I want to get the signal for the amp. I have read every post in several of the main threads in this forum and still don't know what I want to do.

There are several threads on this forum that discuss this in depth but in short no, these speakers will not cause or be harmed in any way in your truck as is. I just replaced all 6 of my stock speakers with the JL Audio C2's today and man I couldn't be happier with the stock sound. Next I will add a subwoofer and fill in the rest of what is missing

Lowered the rear another 3/4” to make it almost level. Left the rear a 1/4” hire just in case I put something heavy in the back. Also installed infinity 3032’s in the rear headliner now have done all but front doors. Just do not know what I want to put up there. Sorry for the crappy pic sunset hit camera. 4A66F5FC-B363-40FF-9C27-11C1E3A014C2.jpeg

There are a bunch of different ones on amazon these are the ones I used.

Where did you wire these too? I want to add these as well, but unsure of where you get the power from?

If you can remove the trim piece, you may find the Mopar Part Number molded into it, probably on the underside. Mopar does this with a great many parts - either molded into the part or on a tag stuck to it somewhere.

If you were paying attention, he stated in a later post:

Steve

Yeah, I did see the post after I replied to the earlier one. Thank you for the snarky reply, it keeps me honest, I probably should have deleted the post once I saw it later on in the thread.

I want to do something new to my truck just don’t know what to do. Bought it fully loaded, adding train horn and rocker LED LIGHTS, won’t do too much as far as lift or tires because of 5th wheel, but any suggestions??

I purchased the wheel/tire setup from www.customoffsets.com and had the wheels ceramic coated as well. I will be adding the ReadyLIFT 2" level kit this week. Thanks to member Jetisondm who inspired me with the look I wanted.

Thanks! I already had the 12" Uconnect stereo, I just got the protector to protect it. When you have kids and accidents happen, it's a small price to pay.
