What did you do to your Ram today???

New to the forum and new owner of a 2021 Rebel. Loving the truck so far. Here’s where I’m at with the truck...
-The engine sounded anemic as hell with the stock exhaust so I put in a Borla S Type. Sounds nice and meaty now.
-The maximum steel ends up just looking like black. Got it wrapped with matte metallic carbon and satin black trim. Looks dead sexy now. IMO at least.
-Swapped out the stock wheels for some KMC Dirty Harry’s. It was surprisingly hard to find 18” rims that I liked.
Got some other stuff planned but here’s the truck as it stands...

Optimum no rinse washed it today and ceramic coated my wheel well liners with leftovers

I know, ceramic coating the liners is a bit much but I hate dirty wheel wells on a clean car and dislike washing them as much. Hoping this will make them easier to clean
What costing did you use for liners ? I’m the same way, I hate dirty liners. It’s like wearing dirty shoe laces with new sneakers.

Some leftover Gyeon MOHS on one side and some leftover TAC System Moonlight on the other (to see which works better) applied with a MF Sponge

Welcome to the forum.
Great looking truck.

These came in today. They fit the rear fold down console cup holders perfectly. You have to use the small adhesive tabs under them so they don't come out when you fold up the lid.

Question::::: I don't hardly ever bring my truck to the carwash, but I could just imagine those guys hitting the door areas and front console and sucking the liners out... :(

Looks great. What did it run you to wrap the whole thing?

Also curious what the vehicle wrap costed.

My truck is black, which looks outstanding once it comes out of the car wash... for about 3mins. I love everything about my truck but won’t ever buy a black vehicle again.

Al curious, what’s the longevity of wrap?

Traded my 19’ in for 2021 night edition with etorque and 3.92s, now I just have to put my parts back on it
Do you know your depreciation cost for the 2019? That is to say, the price you paid when you bought it, minus the trade in value you recovered?

Why do that when you could have easily tapped into the trailer wiring???
This is an open question for me as well. As we have discussed, I am going to be adding supplemental reverse lighting. The most common USCAR plug from CURT uses only 5 of the 7 wires, with one being the ground. You've said the blue is for the reverse, which I'd use for the supplemental lighting. So that leaves only 3 more on the 5-pin flat harness. I'm assuming 2 of the remaining 3 are left/brake and right/brake. No idea what the final of the 5 is, and I asked previously which 2 are left off the 5-pin flat. Another poster picked up from a YT video that the "red" is always hot, but I don't think Ram uses a red wire there. Certainly there's no red on the CURT harness. USCAR diagrams have not consistently reported the functions of each of the 7 wires. I find this incredible and annoying.

If it's not on the 5-pin, I don't really want to tap into a different wire. Maybe it's no problem if I stay on the CURT harness, even if it's not the 5-pin. But anyway, I would like to pull from the trailer wiring to do my bed LEDs.

I received the CURT harnesses, the same ones you use including the USCAR with 5-pin flat, as well as the 5-pin extension. I have the LUYED LEDs that multiple others have used. And I have two 6-ft LED strips for the bed. I should have time this coming weekend to wire up these projects, though it looks like we will have rain here.

1 — Battery
2 — Backup Lamps
3 — Right Stop/Turn
4 — Electric Brakes
5 — Ground
6 — Left Stop/Turn
7 — Running Lamps

This is the listing on the trailer hitch 7 pin plug from the 2019 Owner's Manual, page 416.
The remaining wire on the 5 pin is for running lights. Curt sells a 7 wire "extension" harness (56070) which is used for 5th wheel towing, cut the wire at your desired location and make the necessary connections. The 7 wire harness gives you the "Battery" (aka positive) and a wire for the "Electric Brakes" over the 5 pin (Curt 56584). If you are looking to connect LED strips you will need a power source and ground. If you use the 7 wire Curt 56070 you will not need to connect (tap, cut in solder etc) to the truck's trailer harness. A ground can be connected to the trailer harness or to a ground on the vehicle.

trailer harness extension ebay - 7 wires.

Well I financed the 19 for 41 with a trade, after hitting a deer and getting t-boned in it they gave me 33 for a trade,

Did you have any problems with the 1.5 spacers? Did you need to trim? I have 2 in spacers but the wheels for my bighorn stick out too far for my taste.
No sir, I didn't have to trim anything. The lugnuts actually fit into the grooves on the back of the wheels so I'd say as long as your wheels are similar you'll be good to go. I love the 1.5, just enough to set it apart but not obnoxious or obviously spaced.
