LOL, Not really, the way described above was my successful attempt after about an hour of failed attempts, was about to trash them and tried the wet and stretch technique and I held in place while wife slicked them out. Without help from her, they would be in the trash.

Can anyone tell me what these are?! I lm looking to put a tonneau cover on but I think these will get in the way. 20’ Ram Rebel. I haven’t seen them on anyone else’s yet

They only come on the trucks with the MFT and regular bed walls. Not on non-MFT, and not on trucks with RamBoxes (MFT or not).

Installed the wireless CarPlay. Works flawlessly. I love the fact that I can keep my phone in my pocket and when I leave the truck and come back, it picks up the music exactly where it left off when I shut down.

My phone does that (music automatically resumes) with just the regular Uconnect Bluetooth connection. Android phone. No aftermarket add-ons needed.

Headlights...I cleaned the p!$$ out of them with dawn soap and water, then air-dried with hairdryer, trimmed all handling tabs off with razor, peel then sprits the light and Lamin-X with Rapid-Tac solution, placed them on the lens, positioned them where I wanted it, and had to stretch it from right to left for the curvature of the light not to have a buckle in the laminate and had my wife on squiggy (with felt) duty and she began in the center at the curve in light and worked her way left, right, up & down. Let air dry for a few, then hairdryer for a few. Trimmed edges with a razor, then hit it with a heat gun on low from about 3-4 inches away for a good 5 minutes a side. Cloudy here today, but with a few days in the sun, they will only get better, and they already look great, so.

Fogs...Outlined the opening with a dry-erasable marker on the lens, removed them from the truck, laid the opening markers out with tape, cleaned and dried, removed the handling tabs with razor, peel then sprits with Rapid-Tac, position the Lamin-X on it and squiggy it out, remove the tape, hairdryer for a few, cleaned and reinstalled them onto the truck.

Glad your install went well and they do look bad a**. I like that you had the wife on squeegee duty lol. They were a breeze compared to the taillights wouldn’t you agree?

Agreed, honestly don’t know how I managed to do the rears without the Rapid-Tac. Week long install lol. Wife is a trooper and a keeper. Loves her Jeep, so she gets it.

I also noticed you didn’t do your turn signals on the mirrors, are you planning on doing them? I have a small piece of vinyl on order to do mine as they’re really noticeable now that most everything is black now.

Likely. I agree, they are super noticeable now, but I’m letting it simmer a bit. With my wheels, the do match up and break it up a bit.

That’s actually where I was thinking of putting the switches in my Rebel but after playing around with it, I have a handful of other areas I’m considering now too.

Plugged the drain holes on the rear resonators. Wasn’t motivated enough to install the B2 muffler before it stormed, so that will be a weekend project. Figured I’d start small with working on getting rid of that annoying plastic bag in the wind sound. They will probably end up getting deleted anyway, so I’m not worried about moisture causing issues down the road.

Well done. I used the identical Dual-lock mounting on my fuse box lid. I have a CD player so couldn't place my switches there. Not a bad spot though.

I had the same thoughts on the switches but was happy with the tradeoff. I have found that with continued use they smooth out a little, so there's that.

I used my trigger for reverse lights. Looking forward to see how you fill up your channels.

Yup I call it iPass velcro lol. Sticks well and has close to zero play when attached which is a must for these switches. You’ll want a nice solid base.

Have you thought of doing a diy ceramic coating like gtechniq CSL?? Looks damn good!

I have done it with chemical guys ceramic wax and spray. Both are amazing products. I like the wax better cause it brings out more of a shine.

Looks great, I have to do my turn signals on the mirrors yet. I’d recommend painting the taillights when you get the headlights done.
