Finally got my rhinoliner installed. This is the third truck I’ve had sprayed with Rhinolinings of Dupage. Perfect job every time.

Cut off the mini water heater muffler and welded on a Carven Type R muffler. Left resonators on.
I told the guy to weld the weep holes shut but it sounds like he missed one to me...

I actually had to order them as separate parts to get them because the “set” which includes the hooks and the bolts are back ordered to June. Crazy. So I got the hooks and bolts individually. The install was easy enough except that long bolt that’s already under the truck was a to get off. ON BOTH SIDES! But I’m happy with the results.

Paint and body shop visit. Pulled a dumb a--- while out in W Texas in the middle of the night. I found out the price to replace the tail gate on the Rebel and since insurance is taking care of it they might as well go ahead and swap the bumper out since they don't do powder coat. When ordering the bumper for the Rebel it just states "Black". So it will come with the same coating as the one they are removing. $1500 for tail gate with paint/labor and adding the rear bumper in brought tally up to $2200.
Not much you can do with top edge of tail gate with it piercing into the metal... Yeah I had the rear braking system off.

Well if you take a good look at the tailgate it's made out of aluminum and it would have been very hard to fix and make it look right.

Let there be light! Installed the LEDs in map light. Thought I had an LED festoon for the dome laying around but it’s not CANBUS compliant so more to come....
