What did you do to your Ram today???

Could just knock the guts out of the factory cats. Cheaper ways to do it. If there is no sniff check, then it doesn't matter. And most aftermarket high flow cats won't even pass sniff test, and don't even help performance that much
Depends on the vehicle, but some see decent improvement. When I was messing with s550 mustangs a few years back, aftermarket pipes made good numbers, but that was coupled with good tuning as well. I feel like they go hand in hand. I went with aftermarket catted vs. catless, but that was mainly just for visuals. I could have probably had a buddy inspect it without, but I didn't want to have to rely on it. And the aftermarket catted was almost as good anyway. And you're right, you could just knock out the stock, but in my case, the overall piping was bigger diameter, so that was a factor for me as well.

This was the best option for a bolt on exhaust. I like doing my own work and Im going to put on shorty headers myself right too soon. I woulda got long tubes if they had a full bolt on kit.
Someone posted on a FB page they used this TRX kit on their 1500 and it put the crossover behind the transmission and bolts up.

Confirm before buying

You're going to spend around $1k on the shorties, not including what you just spent, so you're almost there.
It’s gonna be close to 1k once I buy the shorties. The high flowing cats were 600. Shirties are gonna be 600-700 range. I’m looking to get em on 4th of July if they have any discounts.

Haha I know that price point is terrible just didn’t know if you knew that was an option
I’ve seen this one before. I was going to get it, then I just found this one and decided I’m gonna tune the truck soon anyways, and it’s gonna be almost same thing. But cheaper this way. But let me tell you. This with all the performance mods I’ve done on this truck it’s day and night difference

No CAI? Plan on doing the 6.4 or bigger intake manifold and fuel rail, injectors? Correct me if I’m wrong on that 6.4 I seen a member selling performance parts and he had something g similar for sale I think it was also ported.

Did what any sane person would of done… a break in the weather 90° today instead of the 95°+ its been the last few weeks and wanted to get the huge amount of bug guts I’ve been hauling around off. Washed it.. just to get hit with rain 15 mins later. #Story of my life

I already swapped my manifold to the 6.4 manifold one. It has a cold air intake too.

Got this 3rd brake light from Amazon. Pretty cheap so I'm a iffy about it. It seems to have a way thicker gasket than the OEM one buuuuuut it only has the outer bolts to it... the cargo lights seem equally bright as the lastfit bulbs.
