What are you towing?

My 16yo son bought himself his first race car with money he's been saving. Someone started making it a drag car then for whatever reason stopped halfway and parked it in the barn for the last decade.

Just hauled my camper from Syracuse, NY to Myrtle Beach and back. 1885.3 Miles round trip, Averaged 8.3 MPG running 70MPH keeping up with my brother in his 2017 2500 Diesel and 42' 5th wheel (he averaged 9.1mpg) Mine is a 2020 1500, 5.7 with 3.92 rear gear, Timber Grove 5000# Air bags, Load bars with a 30' long trailer. This was my longest trip with it by far and it hauled amazing there and back

had my truck for a grand total of a week before I used it to tow the race car 1200 miles round trip for a drift event.

Did it like a champ coming from a old gas v8 excursion it’s was worlds better, I’ve since added helper bags and a tow controller to make the experience even nicer.

Here is our new trailer. 2024 (left over) Jayco White Hawk 27RK. It's 33' long. Dry weight is 6768 and brochure tongue weight is 720. Scaled weight is 7320 and scaled tongue is 1000.

Because it was a left over, we got a fantastic deal on it. Almost 50% off MSRP.

Love it! I really think 32-33ft is a nearly perfect length for a family.

My buddy just picked up a new to him 20ft center console with only 120 hours on the motor. His Tacoma didn't have a brake controller and there are a lot of hills in San Diego, so I helped him with towing duties. Did a quick bay trial to make sure everything worked, only about 4,500 lbs wet.

The previous owner was towing this with a Acura MDX, my Rebel didn't even know it was there (well, it had a faint idea).

Bought a 2016 primetime executive TT last year for $12,000 from private seller, is around 7,000 pounds, love the layout, outside fridge/kitchen, dual sliding doors bedroom with entertainment center in middle and bathroom shower is residential size. Photo is from last year with my 13 Ram 1500 5.7, this year will be in the newer 21 Bighorn 5.7, has around 2600 pounds more tow capacity, I also installed bilstein 5100s, sumo springs and hellwig sway bar on middle setting. Rear of truck a as in hole, so is reason its sitting odd. 20240625_155644.jpg
