Hey guys! been lurking for a while trying to learn and finally pulled the trigger on a lift for my 2021 ram 1500 Bighorn (Non ORP)! I'll be adding 3.5" of lift front and rear to keep the factory rake for towing and... I just really like the rake! Here's what I ordered and will be installing in about a week:

Rough Country 3.5" front lifted N3 struts
Rough Country 3-3.5" UCA's
Rough Country premium N3 rear shocks for 3.5" lift
Freedom off-road 3.5" rear lift spacers
Hellwig rear sway bar for 2-4" lift
35x12.5R20 Radar Renegade RT's (going on stock rims)
1.5" KSP hub centric spacers

Future upgrades (hopefully in a couple months):

Upgraded front sway bar links for the lift
Upgraded U joints

If anyone has any tips or suggestions for the install or more future upgrades please let me know! Can't wait to get this all done and take some pics to let you guys know how it turns out!

I got the Mopar lift because I like the rake too. Not a very common opinion, but I actually like the look and it is better for towing.

So your lift was 2" all the way around? I was going to have the dealer install a 2" front Mopar level but after I talked to them I found out it was just an aftermarket spacer. I'd rather do it right the first time than cheap out! I don't think I would have been happy with only 2" anyways 😂

Your truck looks great! My dealer only offered a preload spacer leveling kit. I wish more dealers offered suspension lifts but oh well.
Thank you, I appreciate that. I actually got the kit secondhand from a user on here and installed it myself. Definitely turned out better than I thought it would.

Nice, I'll be installing mine as well, seems pretty straight forward. Parts started arriving today already 😁

Started installing the wheel spacers today and got a few more goodies in the mail. Unfortunately with the 1.5" spacers I had to trim my stock wheel studs a bit and I was only able to get the front done today.

I'll be making install videos along the way if anyone is interested in checking them out.

Do you know if doing a 1.75 in or a 2inch spacers also require cutting studs on factory wheels?
I wouldn't have on my truck. I just had to trim about 1/16" off my studs to make sure they weren't sticking past the surface of the spacer. I knew it was a possibility but I didn't want to end up too wide.

If you're concerned about doing that you can always pull a wheel off and measure your studs. Or you could also replace the factory studs with shorter wheel studs but I opted to trim mine. I'm not a professional by any means but those are some takeaways from my experience! 😉

Phase 2 is done and the lift is in. Took her for a test drive and nothing fell off so that's a good start🤞

Now it's off to the tire store for some new rubber and an alignment. Super stoked with how it turned out and how it drives!

New tires get mounted tomorrow and she gets an alignment. Hopefully everything goes as planned and I'll post the final pics tomorrow! I already did the hot forming to the front spat gaurds and I'm hoping I won't have to hit for the inner fenders at all.

Here's the wheel spacer install video if anyone is interested! Most of the videos I make are fishing related but I'll be adding a few more videos of the lift install soon!

Everything still feels good and nothing has loosened up at all🤞

She's all done besides an alignment. The shop that mounted my tires didn't want anything to do with my adjustable track bar! 😂 They referred me to another place and I have one other mechanic I trust to do it. That will get done next week.

The ride is a bit bumpier than stock on our crappy Wisconsin roads but when you find a smooth road it rides phenomenal! The truck also doesn't wander over bumps like it used to thanks to the hellwig sway bar!

I couldn't be happier with how she turned out!

Looks nice I went with the rough country kit with the new control arms was perfect but had to put some heavy duty springs in the rear the stock just couldn’t handle the weight from firewood I put in every so often
Now I have the rake again everything just higher
Here’s my 20 next to the same stock truck a co worker has

Ya I had the 1” lift that came with the rough county kit but after the springs I had to take it out
I think the company name is
SD springs they sell pretty wide variety depending on what you use it for
Still debating heavier springs for the ft as the stock ones don’t like my plow

Gotcha, I pulled my boat for the first time a couple days ago and it did really good! I'm glad I lifted the rear because I like the rake when I'm not towing and then it sits closer to level when I hook up to the boat.

Does your truck plow the snow pretty good besides needing the heavier springs?

It plows nice no issues I have the fisher 7.5 set up

Been on there for a few seasons now highways not the most fun but it’s rare I gotta travel with it on highway
Probably gonna go with new Timbrens I think there called
They worked excellent on the sag issue when plow was on with my 96 ram

That’s before I added the heavier springs now can barely tell when I’m loaded
