I usually never post on forums but I thought I'd post this just to share with all you good folks out there. Dropped my truck at the dealer yesterday. The carpet under the driver's side floor mat is pretty wet for about 8-10 square inches. Nowhere else in the cab feels wet. Seems like it hasn't stopped raining around here in forever so I guess it could be a lot worse. Hard for me to tell if the sunroof drains are in correctly or not and at this age and time in my life I'm not going to spend time crawling around or taking things apart. Can't interfere with my golf you know. My dealer is pretty large and busy but they have been good so far to provide a rental at no charge. The only other issue I had was a bad sway bar that had to be replaced. Overall I love this truck, traded a '16 Laramie that was pretty much perfect only because I simply love the '19. For the record my new ride is a Laramie Longhorn, non eTorque Hemi, 3.92 rear and ORP in Delmonico Red with the Black and Saddle interior. Picked it up on December 26th and the build date is in December. Just took it on a road trip to the Smokies in East Tennessee and averaged 19 MPG for the 955 miles. Can't say enough good things about the comfort and features so let's hope this problem gets diagnosed and fixed as quickly as possible. Will keep everyone updated on the progress.

Update: Picked up my truck today. Turned out to be the firewall seam leak where the sealer was either not installed, partially installed or just not correctly installed. Kind of glad it was something seen in other postings. Hopefully my leak issues are behind me now.

My truck has been at the dealer twice for the same water leak. Each time they have told me they cant duplicate the issue. I have asked them to look in the forums about the same issue but they seem to know more than me. I'm worried that i will be stuck with a leaking truck and smelly carpet. The truck already smells like a wet dog and it is only 4 months old. I'm at a loss for words at this point. I cant afford to sell it. If someone has answers please let me know. I cant keep leaving my truck at the dealer for service. I bought it for work and everyday i don't have it i lose money.

Smitty...look up the lemon laws for your state...something like three shots to fix it before they have to eat it.

Hello Smittyssmoothies,

We understand your desire to reach a solution for this leak. Although we cannot provide any technical feedback, are you thinking you'd like to visit another dealer for a second opinion? We're available via direct message and can escalate your inquiry for further handling if this is of interest.

Firewall seam leak or the roof drain leak.
They need to do a recall. Three times is lemon law.
