Well my 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie is in the shop again. This time for a water leak that has ruined the headliner. This is the biggest P.O.S. vehicle I have ever owned. Wish I could file lemon law on it and make the dealership buy it back! So sick of stuff constantly breaking on it!

That looks like the brake light leak.

I am wondering if they got a batch of bad seals for the cyclops light...

This is insane. Brake light water leaks were very common on the 4th gen for a while, and then were fixed. Now they're back on 5th gen? Wake up FCA!

That really blows. What else have you had it in for?
Front end problems , it went back four times for that. Squealing brakes, front end alignment twice, passenger seat heater, water leak at the intake, poor A/C performance, radio has blanked out a couple times, headlight switch a couple weeks ago and now a water leak from supposedly the radio antenna!

I'd cut your losses and trade on something else and roll the dice again. All of these new vehicles are total gambles at this point. I traded an F150 on this Ram that I was constantly having minor problems with. Leaks, parking brake failure, Electrical Gremlins, Horn failure, premature rust, fuel tank door failure, etc. I feel sorry for whomever is picking it up used.

Knock on wood my Ram has only had a couple issue compared to the Ford.

Go to GM forums, Nissan, etc - nobody is making a Rock Solid truck now a days sadly. Even Toyota Tundra owners are frustrated by fit and finish issues, and a couple engine issues Toyota is handling with mixed results (Cam Tower Leaks). You have to gamble and hope you get a good one.

Third brake light, detail at the dealership can remove stains

I truly wish I could make the dealership buy this truck back . I was going to trade a few months ago and the dealership was going to bend me over a barrel to the tune of $10,000. Mind you I have bought three vehicles from the in the last four years. They will never get another dime out of me. I have bought a 2015 challenger R/T, a 2019 challenger R/T scat pack and now a 2019 ram 1500 from the same dealership! It pisses me off that they won’t cut me some slack on this P.O.S. Truck! Mind you I bought this truck in May of 2019.

Well thought I would give a update on my truck. Monday will be two weeks my truck has been in the shop. They are supposedly waiting on a windshield. Claimed it was two weeks out. My friend at work has a 2019 ram 1500 also. He recently got a rock chip in his windshield, so he called up safelite to inquire at a replacement windshield. They informed him that their is a 6 month back order on the windshield for them. I am now wondering how long my truck is really going to be in the shop.
