Warranty question...

Yes, that's correct. Or you could go with Clay and save another $40 (which I learned after I bought mine). Every 1% helps, right?
One last question. The dealer said I have to call the lien holder to cancel the insurance. Then they would deduct that from the loan amount. Then I’m assuming I will have to Signed a new contract that they will do with the warranty taking off. Is that correct? Or do I have to call the actual Protection warranty plan company.

Did you guys add the wheel and tire and the dent protection?

I did the road hazard when we took delivery. I don’t think we’ve ever had a road hazard policy that didn’t pay for itself.
It is just $375 for 7 years. That’s cheap

So I just purchased the warranty. Do I have to change the dealer I want any repairs done since I got it from Bob, Zeigler. Which I’m no where around him. Or can I just take it to any ram dealer?

Any Ram dealer will do warranty work.

Like @2019REBEL said, any Ram dealer. This is a Mopar warranty, not a Zeigler warranty. When you login to www.mopar.com, you'll find the warranty listed (within 24-48 hours) under the "Mopar Vehicle Protection" section of your dashboard.

I purchased the Lifetime Maximum Care warranty from Clay Robbins after I purchased my truck. I then read that you can't transfer the lifetime warranty like you can the 8 year/125k warranty. I may have went a different route had I known the warranty could not be transfered.

Ok so you may have to do it through the bank, mine was through the dealer so that's why I could cancel it with them.

This is what I found.... Asking Clay about it tonight

Lifetime warranties can not be transferred. Other terms, such as 8yr/125k can be transferred with a $50 fee.

The is the exact verbiage in the lifetime plan provisions.

"This Plan offers mechanical coverage as specified to the named purchaser or retail lessee of the vehicle only, for the lifetime of that purchaser or retail lessee. The Plan ends upon the death of that purchaser or retail lessee or upon the transfer or sale of the vehicle. The Plan ends even if the transfer occurs by operation of law, such as to a lienholder, family member through succession, or successor business."

"TRANSFER POLICY: This plan is not transferable to subsequent owners or lessees, even if they are within the same family or business."

I actually purchased the lifetime warranty about any hour ago because I wanted to beat the deadline. Went to the dealer to cancel the limited warranty. I have to call a lady tomorrow and get with here. Hopefully this doesn’t mess up anything having both warranties right now.

What if the family member is a spouse or named on the title ?

I purchased the $200 deductible plan from Clay yesterday for $2580.
Nice. I went with the $100 deductible but at the end, I also purchased the road hazard tire and wheel. I said why not. $375 is one wheel alone.
