Here's a truck on the ground in Texas... only missing NAV and the rear under seat storage (1150 miles away).

And this bad boy is 3 hours away but it has towing mirrors vs power folding...I got pics of it as it was arriving a few weeks ago (very tempted to say F the mirrors and grab it! But it'd be nice to have the window sticker with my name on it - and the deal is no better than what I have on the ordered truck).

When did it get into JS status? Is that the status where you are just waiting on shipment or is there more to it with this code?

Side note i’ve never ever really liked Silver as a car color ever. The limited I test drove was a silver one and it had me changing my opinion. I actually liked the look of it a lot in person.

It has been in JS code since the 16th of April. Customer service keeps telling me it could be waiting on shipping, due to a real back log of vehicles and not enough train cars,but it has not been given a final inspection or I would see the sticker on line.

JS - Storage. Some of you call this"Prison". I like to think of it as QA trying to ensure you get whatyou expected. Typically if something happens or is found in the I step (or evena previous step), it goes here to get checked and fixed. A panel looks offcolor, a part on your truck was in the same batch as a bunch of failed parts, alight doesn't turn on, etc will all cause the truck to get sent here for adetailed inspection and fix.

Another reason it can end up here is either the
dealer has asked to have the trucked delayed (it has a full lot and can onlyhandle so many) or it has a special event coming up. Typically that isn't doneon a sold order. It can also end up here at the start of a model year whereproduction is ramping up but the vehicle has not be released (or certified) forshipment. You all are aware of this at the start of the 20XX model year.

Nobody likes the vehicle to be in this status as you don'tget your truck and Chrysler doesn't make money.

you're doing the right thing. wait for yours to come in and get exactly what you want. if you get one almost like you want you will regret it a in a month or two when the one you ordered comes in.

I completely agree, I like most hate waiting but always wanted Ramboxes but never had them so an order it was. Ordered them first day they were available in Canada. dealer is saying 4-7 weeks longer.
Even an 8 week wait is better then a few or many years without what you truly wanted.

Amen to that. I ordered my current truck...not one on the ground anywhere had the Inflatable Rear Seatbelts in an XLT...

Can you say we live in a we want it now society LOL.

I wasn't sold on the silver but I think it goes great with the Chrome. Looks better in person.

I gotta say I think all the members here have specced very nice combinations.

I suppose in a few months many won't have this problem as dealers will be full of 19's on the lot. Between dealer trades there will be hundreds to choose from. Until then build your truck online daily till it shows up.

This is true, With trucks it depends how picky you are though because there are a lot of different combinations. I'll have to order mine regardless: 1) I doubt exactly what I want will be sitting on a lot and 2) I want it fresh off the truck untouched anyways so it will be an ordered truck.

agree. Custom and untouched.

i ordered my limited in ivory tri-coat. but after seeing a silver limited at the philadelphia car show it made me think a little bit. if ivory tri-coat wasn't an option for the limited i would have had no issues about ordering one in silver. it looks great!

This is the color I want as well. Most everything I've seen on my lot searches only has the Bright White. Have you seen an actual photo of the ivory tri-coat?
