Volume/HVAC buttons don't work after replacing radio

I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Tradesman (5th gen) with the 5" Uconnect screen. I bought a used 8.4" Uconnect screen, including the bezel/HVAC controls from a 2019 Big Horn and the HVAC knobs look 100% identical to mine. Everything plugged in with no issues and I had matching plugs for everything except there is a black mini B USB port on the back of the radio that I don't have a plug for. Turned it on and everything on the screen works great. However, nothing else works except for the flashers button. The volume/tune knobs don't work and the 3 HVAC knobs don't work, despite being visually 100% identical to the old. Tow/haul, traction control, and trailer brake controller buttons also don't work.

Any thoughts on things I can try to get this working without getting the dealership involved? I do have a JScan app that has limited capabilities in case there is configuration that is needed, but I have no idea what things to try.
