I can't get the hard reset to happen... this may be a stupid ? but is the power button. knob.. the "volume" button? If it is, I can't get it to work. I also tried the tuner button. This is beyond frustrating.
Hello group, I have a 2023 Durango RT and while on a drive with my son at a gas station the Uconnect started updating with no options to delay the update, that sucked. But oh well it stated that the vehicle shouldn't be driven and in park but i wasn't in the position to to do that at that point so i continued on my way and other than the screen not being available and the radio going in and out it wasn't a big deal. Well that is until I noticed that the individual AC settings for driver/passenger were gone on the screen. So i searched the web and ended up here, and i just wanted to say, THANK YOU! Followed the directions to push start to on, hold the two knobs till the screen went off, and everything is back as far as i can tell. Thank you again, much appreciated.
Just bought the new 2025 Rebel and am having issues with the gas mileage. IT says averaging about 15 MPG when it should be over 19. I know it must be the computer because the fuel in the tank doesn't match the miles to go until empty. Can the computer that handles the MPG calculations be reboot or could it be a defective module?
Does the factory reset revert back to a version before any Uconnect updates?
The current update is causing all sorts of issues and I'd like to either roll back to a previous version, if anyone has a link to previous versions I can put on a thumb drive that would be helpful, or just reset it entirely to whatever version came out of the factory.
I recently got the update and mine has frozen the screen twice now while backing up, and once pulling away from the gas pump. It just screeches for 10 seconds or so and then reboots itself. RAM, please fix these bugs or revert us back to previous version!!
I saw a post about a HVAC reset. Said to hold the AC and recirculate buttons at the same time. Tgis would alegedly recalibrate the systems actuators.
For the 2019 DT ram 1500 is this correct? I am having a issue with the AC occasionally being set at 65° when I turn the truck off. When I restart it it will show 65 on the setting but blows warm/hot air and will not cool down. However I have also had it blowing warm/hot air at times. Then when driving for 20-45 minutes it would suddenly start blowing the cold air again.
The compressor is kicking on when it should.
Now it will do this about every 8th to 10th restart.
I am not sure if this is a software issue or a actuator, control module issue.
