I'm only on 145. Only way to get updates is if your Ram has the connected services module installed to receive OTA updates. Many 2022 Rams came with a factory delete due to the chip shortage, including mine. The drive uconnect website does not provide updates. The only other way is to waste your time and money by going to and paying the dealer, which is completely unacceptable for a modern radio that connects to satellites and your phone for everything.

There is an issue with the maps, the update so massive it has to be done manually (it’s free). Once you update the maps, OTA may work again. Unless you complain to dealer that OTA is not working they will not update it. As your warranty burns near end you should make this complaint. Maps can be downloaded from website (search this forum for instructions)

My 2023 with UC5 no-Nav 8.4 (built 6-23) came with this. I haven't seen this version mentioned anywhere. I'm guessing since it says -Refresh in the Model name that the radio is some kind of hardware refresh and the v246 listed may not necessarily apply to older UConnect 5 non-Navs?

Where exactly am I looking to determine my UConnect version. And where can I find which version is the most up to date?

To follow up on my post above from a couple of years ago. No-Nav 8.4 uConnect5 version 00.246.71.04.00 that came from the factory was, to put it mildly, weird. After the free Sirus XM ran out I switched to a USB key and the fun started. About 80% of the time, upon restart, the radio wouldnt remember the last song playing and start there, instead it would reset to the first mp3 in the first folder on the USB key (alphabetical). I got pretty sick of listening to that song. No amount of variations would change it, NTFS, FAT32 format, old key, new key, small key, large, playlists, no folders or just playing out of a album folder. Oddly enough every few days it would suddenly get its memory back and for a few restarts, it would work as it should, picking up where it left off. But it would eventually fall back to amnesia mode again.
Another odd thing was the radio refused to connect to any WiFi access points. I tried a couple of different ones at home, tried the library, a hotel, etc. Never could get it to connect. It would see the AP, but after typing in the password it would think about it for a minute then fail to connect.
Without the ability to connect to WiFi, I would never get an update for the radio. Kinda a catch 22.
Last week, I took the truck in for the clockspring recall. I had them look at the radio also, the service manager tried the dealership WiFi and it wouldnt connect there either.
When I got it back the radio was updated to Build Number 00.255.45.06.00 to "fix the wifi issue". Drove it all week and the radio seems to remember the last song played so that is probably fixed as well. It is also connecting to the home WiFi now, so I should get new updates if any more are released.

I wish mine was one. I even asked if I could pay to have them remove it at the dealer, but they refused. Yet another OTA update that drained the battery and messed with stuff. Found out when I went to hit the quick link to pull up the rear view camera before pulling out since I had a load in the bed blocking my view... and discovered it had been replaced by Alexa! Wasn't about to dig through screens to pull it up, so I just went slowly for it. Argh! Reminds me of the time I drove a loaner car with an interference between the sun visor and the rear view mirror, that I discovered when needing to make a quick lane change on the highway. @RamCares DON'T SCREW WITH THE SAFETY SYSTEMS!!!
