2025 Tungsten. 3500 miles.

Twice now, I have come out of work after 8-10 hours, and the truck is dead. Unlock door manually and no dash lights, no sidestep deployment.
Started with jump pack, but must use bypass button that jump pack manual stated is only necessary when the battery is flat dead (<1.0 volts)

The two occurrences have been months apart with no trouble in between, although i do hear an electric motor running in the left front wheel well and various mechanical clicks
under the hood, sometimes for 15 minutes or more when the vehicle is shut down...maybe normal behavior?

Anyone else had this experience?

Thoughts?

Thanks!

i thought it has a electric oil pump that continues to circulate oil for the turbo's to cool them off maybe it's not turning off?
fist year of a new set up is always the worst your the beta tester's

Hi @gurnio

This is regretful to hear. We'd recommend reaching out to a dealership near you, if you haven't done so already. If you need further assistance please send us a private message, we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

I too am experiencing the same issues as you and am to the point that I carry my Noco booster with me at all times, though even though it starts the truck sometimes it remains stationary as the selector knob will not engage Drive mode. If the door or doors are left open for more than a few short minutes the truck will not start. I am now developing a love/hate with this truc and for what one pays for the Tungsten I'm not a happy Ram customer.

This just happened to me yesterday. Came home on Tuesday evening at 9PM. Wednesday morning at 715, I couldn't unlock the doors with the FOB. Tried my NoCo with no luck. Roadside assistance from Stellantis charged 167.00 to send a tow truck. As soon as they put their jumbo on. My vehicle went haywire. Alarm blaring and all settings reset. Dealer told me both batteries were completely dead. No idea as to why, one advisor said it's like science, it just happens!

167.00 if it's a issue with the truck they sold you and you didn't cause it i would demand a refund.......

Our Grand Wagoneer has done this to us twice this year. Two new batteries. The dealer cannot explain the issue.

In both situations, a jump pack was no help.

oh yeah get AAA or towing insurance it look's like it would pay for itself

Where in the settings is this? My.keys are roughly 40 ft from the vehicle when parked.

Go to the settings menu then lights then the 4th item down.
This setting made my power running boards extend anytime the fob was within range of the truck, would unlock it and flash the lights. Running boards were constantly extending and retracting. Turned that off in the 1st 5 min

Much to my chagrin, my 25 laramie with less than 4k miles now has a dead battery. Amusingly when I pushed the start button there was a warning message on the screen that said "parking brake unavailable". Only 4 months ago I got this truck and has been nothing but problems, and my dealer could care less, even charging me 230 bucks for an alignment when that should be covered under warranty. I believe there was a post somewhere for installing a bigger battery, an H8 instead of a factory H7 if I recall.
