Truck Wiring Material

Does anyone know what material is used on the Ram’s truck wiring? My area has a rat/rodent issue and people with soy based car wiring are having their insides chewed to pieces. I’ve searched around online and haven’t been able to confirm what our wiring is made out of.

Hm that tape sounds interesting I’ll have to look into it. Neighbors have tried that peppermint spray that people recommend and that hasn’t worked so far, unfortunately

It doesn't really matter rats and squirrels love to get into wiring.

If it is half as effective as my father's home-made insect repellent (which was also a deer repellent for apples and a racoon repellent for corn), that tape should do the trick. The recipe stated to throw cayenne pepper in the stuff, instead he grew Habanero peppers and Naga Jolokia peppers and he used them in the stuff. A few pounds worth.
