Does anyone else have the issue when either slowly starting to accelerate from a stop or slowly coming to a stop the truck starts to shake and feel like it is going to stall out? I have had the truck for 2 weeks now and it happened ever since i drove off the dealers lot. Just trying to see if this is normal or if anyone else has these issues. It’s a 2020 Big Horn Hemi Etorque. Thanks.

Maybe the eTorque system is about to shut the engine off and you take you foot of the brakes?
That's what i think, it's shutting the engine off and you don't let it compete the Stop/Start process
So it's kinda stalling the engine for a sec.

It’s not the auto stop/start because it does it when that is turned off as well so the truck wouldn’t be turning off or on at a stop.

Hi @kearnsc88 - If this is something you decide to address further with your dealership, please be sure to follow up with us via private message. I would be more than happy to escalate a case on your behalf for further support through that process.

I have the same problem. It is on my list of warranty fixes that I need done before my bumper2bumper expires (5k miles to go).

To me, it feels like the transmission is trying to decide between downshifting from 2 to 1 and doesn't quite get there or there is a delay. This seems like a software issue to me.

I don't have that issue coming to a stop or starting from a stop but the idle is really uneven when I start the motor regardless of it being a cold start or a warm start. It's like it has an aggressive cam profile. It sounds like the engine might stall out. I just picked this truck up on Saturday 5/23. It was an executive demo with only 5000 miles on it.

I do apologize for the trouble, @ThisIsJamesReid. If you work with your dealer to address this, we would be happy to connect you with a specialist for further support through that process.
