looking to see if anyone else is having issues with tpms systems on the 5th gen ram 1500
our shop has installed a 3.5 in lift and 35'' tires on 6 new rams. 3 of them keep dropping the rf tpms sensor.
have verified good working sensors and wireless control module any help would be appreciated

I’m having that issue. It was working fine for a while. Now either my left rear goes out then comes back in or it’s my front left. 4” lift on 35s. Comes and goes usually if I scan them to search them they read again.

I will bring back an old thread, only one I could find with my issue but my truck is stock height and tires but tire sensors will go out randomly, it is usually the RF Passenger front tire, it will have the Icon light on for a day, or a couple of hours, once the right rear tire light came on as no reading, but it lasted for less than a day. It will go days without coming on, or it will go on and off throughout the day.

Every time I drive towards the dealer the light goes off, so that is my temporary fix, just drive towards the dealer. Does anyone else have a long term fix? The dealer did look at in during one of the recalls, but since the error light wasn't on they couldn't fix it. It is a 2019 Laramie CC, Ram Box, offload package, Sport.

Hi leonandlisa,
We understand why this may be frustrating since the dealer cannot properly address your concern unless it can be duplicate. With that said, if you are able to bring this to the attention of your dealer, please feel free to send us a private message if you would like any additional assistance.

Ha! I’m about to schedule my appointment for tints right now too. What did you go with?

I had this exact issue at less than 500 miles. My dealer 1st said the sensor needed to be reprogrammed, which did not work. So they ordered a replacement and no problems since. I now have just shy of 5k miles. And also my tpm light was never on when I took it in, they replaced it with no issues. Maybe take a photo next time it comes on if it’s an issue.
