I'm, a big fan of Toyo's; they are made by Samurai's in Japan. I've been told and have noticed that the Toyo tires take noticeably less weight to balance meaning they are a pretty true round tire. I had the MT's in 33x12.5R20 on my last truck. I wouldn't go that wide again for a few reasons but with that said I'd rather take that old truck out on snow and ice than my Wife's AWD Highlander with winter tires. The MT's stuck to the road really well for a wide MT. If I would have kept that truck I was going to throw on the AT3's.

They are made in America. Says right in the side wall.

But yes they balance very well. Never had issues with mine

I'm seeing everyone talking about the 305/45 R22 AT3's, but is anyone running the 285/45 R22 Toyo AT3's? My main reason for getting these will be some off road driving at my sister's land and towing a boat. My truck is 2wd (got a heck of a deal on it) and I don't trust the stock tires to hook up well at boat ramps.

The 285/45’s are 32.1” overall diameter (11.2” width), and the 305/45 a 32.8” overall diameter. The 305 is 11.9” wide and closer to a the size of a 33x12.5 without the weight hit of an E-rated tire. I personally chose a 285/50/22 because it’s 33.3” tall and 11.7” wide. It is 8lbs heavier than the 305/45 though.

Hey folks, just wanted to share my initial impressions of this tire. Got it installed a few days ago and so far it's riding excellently. After scouring this forum, I decided to get the 33x12.50/22 on my Limited. I have air suspension, no level/lift etc, and I have had no rubbing under normal everyday driving. I would imagine at Aero or Entry/Exit they would, but there's no reason to really be locking the steering that sharp in those modes. It rides very well, you can feel it is very stuck to the ground and I have had excellent results in wet conditions so far as well. I had them aired to 40psi all around. Updated photos. Got a lil over 10k on them now, they're still excellent. Wearing evenly, rotating every 5k. Excellent traction in wet conditions and they really give a good "stuck to the ground" feel that just wasn't there with the stock Good-Years. The 3.92 handles these things no problem. Trying to decide between the Continental TerrainContact ATs vs the Toyo Open Country AT IIIs.

I live on a 1/2 mile gravel drive, but aside from that, most driving is on pavement. However, with having a truck, I'd like to be able to feel comfortable knowing my truck can handle/perform in mild off-road terrain conditions, but I don't want to sacrifice too much for on pavement performance (wet/dry/snow). I'm looking at maintaining the stock size: 285 45R22s on my 2020 Limited.

I don't want to have a "loud" truck tire and maintain the quiet/comfortable cabin and ride the Ram provides. Maybe I'm best with an All-Season, but I like the AT look better (even the more mile ATs) and the comfort knowing they'll perform to get me out of some mild situations if needed.

First time truck owner. The OEM tires are pretty much shot at ~18k miles (no surprise given all the posts on this forum). Bought the truck with about 17k miles, so this is a decent investment right off the start.

-Thoughts on either of these two options?
-Any 1st hand experience with impacts on MPG?

I have the TC AT's 285/45/22 on my 19' limited - they're a great tire, no complaints but I'm moving on to the Toyo ATIII's - either 305/45/22 or 35's. I'm trying to be practical about my decision which would lean towards the 305/45. I want a little more aggressive tire look and additional sidewall without going to the LT, 305/45 is as big as I can get. If I go for the LT, I'm going all in at 35/12.5/22.

The Nitto Recon Grappler's aren't 3 peak snow rated vs the Toyo's are - someone can correct me if that's changed. I live in Washington State and drive to MT frequently, Ski/Snowboard so winter weather tire was something I'm looking for.

Correct. I have the recons and they are not 3 peak snow rated.

Guys, Im not great with tire sizes. Currently need to replace Cooper 285/45 R22 on my 2020 Laramie with air suspension. Would these AT3 Toyos at 33 x 12.5 x 22 be a larger tire? Im looking to fill more of the wheel well. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks
