Realize there is a few threads about this tire but I've decided to get a set in 33x12.5R22 or 305/45R22. Toyo wed site states approved rim width for the 305/45 is 9.5"-11.5" so is anyone running these with the factory 22x9 wheel? The 305/45 have a mileage warranty and are 10lbs lighter. Issues or thoughts from the forum? Thanks

The “approved rim width” basically means nothing. You’ll be 1000% fine running 9” wide wheels on them. People run 9” wide wheels on 40x15.50s & 14” wide wheels on 35x12.50s haha

Skinny rims and wide tires has always been the poor mans beadlock, you'll be fine!

This is exactly what I am running right now, 305/45 r22 Toyo OC ATIII. No issues so far and the 10 lbs lighter is why I chose the 305/45 over the 33". I run them at 41psi.

Any rubbing? Do you have stock susupension?

What you see is with some air links, but I have lowered it back to stock until i get my daystars installed. No rubbing at any height.

Where did you find these? When I look on TireRack they are not showing this size for the ATIII

I couldn't find them there either. DiscountTire had them, $353/ea I think it was.
Strange , maybe supply issues? Just weird it doesn't show up at all as an available size.

Supply but more a distribution issue is what Discount told me. Took a couple weeks to get them shipped to Discount before I was able to get my ATIIIs installed.

Discount Tire is where I got mine. Plus I sold them the **** Good years for $75 a piece.

Are these an LT tire? I am 99% street driving, rarely will go off road. Wondering if these are too aggressive and if there is something I should look at in between this and a regular street tire.

I believe the 305/45/22s are not an LT tire. I wanted a little more meat the then stock 45s so went 285/50/22 which are an LT tire. I will say even with the change in a thicker ply, I am really liking the ATIIIs. Yes the ride is a bit more rough, but honestly not a huge change ride quality. Just my 2 cents=)

Thanks for the input!

running Toyo AT3 305/45/22 on stock 22" limited wheels @ 38 cold PSI. No issues at all after trimming the wheel well a little. full turn left and right required minor trimming on both driver and passenger sides.

No brake upgrades needed. If you get a spare in the same size, it might not fit in the stock location
