towing capacities

hi looking at 2020 ram 1500 what are the differences in equipment besides 321 gears vs 394 gears to in crease towing capacity by 3000 lbs

thanks , i have a 2019 quad cab with 3.92 , looking move up to a never truck , with crew cab 6' box , but most have 321 gears , and if you look at door stickers they are mostly same , its not until you go to a tow guide site with vin# , do you see actual capacity , do i need 392s, tow my travel trailer 7000lbs on some trips .

With 7000lbs you will never truly notice the difference.

Your personal need for power is unknown to me...but overall ability will not be affected at that weight.

You may notice a slightly slower acceleration from a stop and one more downshift on a hill.

The door sticker only Shows GVWR and payload.

GVWR will be exactly the same and payload will only differ slightly with options.
