So I order tow hooks a while back from allmoparpart.com and like most were told they were on back order, so I cancelled the order. Well I decided to reorder them on a Tuesday and today got a FedEx tracking # that they will be delivered next Wednesday........woohoo!!!

On allmoparparts.com it is listed as DTTOWHOOKBLK and DTTOWBEZELKIT. Let me open up my invoice and see what the actual part number is.

They came a day early. Hopefully will get them on tomorrow. Have an appointment in the morning to get my oil changed, may just have the dealership install if they don’t try to gouge me on price.

I agree, gives the truck a beefier look and you don't have the blank plastic covers reminding you your truck is missing something.

Got mt tow hooks in yesterday. Went to install, got the passenger side trim ring in, went to take the bolt out, that must be 8 inches long, then it seems to have a keeper on it, and I couldn't get the bolt out, had to re-thread it in and tighten back down. How did you guys get that bolt out

Got mt tow hooks in yesterday. Went to install, got the passenger side trim ring in, went to take the bolt out, that must be 8 inches long, then it seems to have a keeper on it, and I couldn't get the bolt out, had to re-thread it in and tighten back down. How did you guys get that bolt out

You have to use a pair of pliers and a hammer, at least that’s how they do it in the YouTube video.

I ordered the black hooks from allmopar last week and got them today. Install took about 1hr. They look great but the torque specs on the new bolt at 135 really gives you a work out with a manual torque wrench!
