Currently have 285/65 r18 on a 2016 2500 Laramie Longhorn. Was wondering if going to 275/70 r18 would be better. Looking for best prices on some tires. Looking for a decent $200ish tire preferably a aggressive tread 10ply. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

I too will be looking for new rubber soon on my truck Stock 275/70/18 - down to new KO3 and the Nokian Outpost NAT all terrain. The NAT's are significantly cheaper and have some good reviews.

No simply going to a tire that's about 1/2 inch taller and about a 1/2 inch narrower will not really be better for anything. However, it will make your speedometer read about 1 mph slower than what you are actually traveling unless you have it reprogrammed.

Did you get the Nokian Outpost nAT tires? Thinking of getting a set of these or the Falken Wildpeak AT4w.

No..not yet but they are top of my list for price - Nokian makes killer snow tires so I’m guessing these would be decent AT rubber
