Now to have them installed! Waiting fory busy to give me a date. Hoping for a Saturday morning so I can help out in his shop.

It's pretty much a Rough Country 3.5" lift except I'm using Supreme Suspension rear 2" spacer.

Post them pics when done.

I have pretty much settled on running the same RC front struts/UCAs. Can you measure the ride height before and after the lift from the center of the hub to the fender lip on the front and back? I am trying to decide what I want to do for rear lift.

Do you expect the 2" spacer to get you exactly level, or have some rake?

Most certainly will take measurements. I plan to lift and drive with stock tires for a couple of weeks to let things settle and decide how it rides compared to stock. Then add my tires after that. It won't be easy to hold off on the tires, but in the name of science I will make that sacrifice. LOL

Personally I want a touch of rake. Anytime people say their truck is dead level (when taking measurements) the overall look to me is not right. I think it looks nose high. I'm really hoping by measurements, my rear will be 1 inch higher than the front. Giving it a level look with out looking like it has as saggy bottom.

I have read the Rough Country 3.5" rear lift spacer only lifts around 1" of rear height. You have to call them and ask for a larger spacer. Since I was piece mealing this kit together, I went the Supreme Suspension 2" rear spacer. which is just a touch higher than the Readylift 3.5" rear spacer. I posted pics on that already in another thread.

Just did this same kit over the weekend. It does sit 1” higher in the front. I will be ordering supreme suspension 2” or 2 1/2” once I see how yours turns out. I called Rough Country today as I didn’t measure the rear spacer before I installed it. They said it is a 1” spacer and they don’t sell a 2” is what the guy told me on the phone.

Agreed, I would prefer a touch of rake as well. I called RC and confirmed that it is a 1" spacer in the back and they were not interested in replacing it with a 2" spacer per request. I am leaning towards installing the Clayton 2.5" Jeep Gladiator springs in the rear, but I just dont want an excessive amount of rake.

My only worry on the Clayton 2.5" springs would be lower payload. Those springs are made for a lighter payload vehicle. Just my opinion which could be totally unfounded.

Lift is in. Went real quick at my buddy's shop. Started at 830am. Done by noon with an alignment.

It's totally unfounded. I think I've said before, people think Gladiator and relate the springs with the smaller truck and less payload. Claytons are not stock rate Gladiator springs. They have firmer rates than ORP and will support more weigth than anything HD RAM offers for the RAM 1500 and even the aftermarket RAM 1500 springs. BDS 3" specific springs for the RAM for example have 240lbs/inch spring rates. Claytons have 280lbs/inch in their 2nd rate. Without any load in your truck bed you'll be riding somewhat between 1st and 2nd rate, once you start adding weigth in your bed the springs become firmer going from 280lbs/inch to 360lbs/inch rate. BDS or ORP have pu..y spring rates If you wanted to compare specific spring rates.. :) plus If you had your stock springs side by side with the Claytons you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. Claytons are pure beef compared to the stockers.

Appreciate the explanation. I went with a Supreme Suspension 2"spacer instead. See how this goes. The stance is right to my eye.

I didn't know RC had 3.5" QL struts for your application. Did you take measurements ?
Also can you post pics with the your CV axel angles ? Curious to see how those angles look like with these struts.

Looks great! How does it ride?

So far so good. It drives very similar to stock. My wife thought it felt the same. Very pleased with the ride so far. I want to get some more miles on the truck with the stock tires, before I mount the bigger ones. I'm sure that's what will stiffen the ride.

I did take measurements. I'll snap photos of the cv's and post up the measurements tomorrow. I'm guessing they should be fine. Plenty of guys running 3.5" kits. (y)

Looks good boss....what wheel/tire setup are you thinking of going with?
Thank you. I've got 285/55's for my stock wheels. I'm going to have to run spacers though. I can already tell. We'll see how I like that setup. I may drop to 20s and run 35x12.5s down the road. We'll see!

Preliminary measurements. I'll remeasure after a tank or two of gas and the front end settles. Currently, I gained 4 inches up front.

Stock
FR 36 5/16
FL 36 7/16
RR 38 9/16
RL 38 3/16

Immediately After
FR 40 6/16
FL 40 3/16
RR 40 7/16
RL 40 3/16

After 100 miles (to track settling)
Approximately a 1/4

FR 40 1/16
FL 39 13/16

Also picture of the CVs for @Ram1500rsm

i put the rc 3.5 strut kit with rc uca, rode around for a while like that until i couldn't stomach the rake anymore. i just installed the ICON 1.5 rear springs and rc v2 monotube rear shocks and it leveled it perfectly. it may be a 1/8 inch higher than the front if that but it looks amazing and it also drives significantly better. and im able to clear 35x12.5x20 nitto ridge grapplers and 2inch spacers and still manage to keep a stock ride quality haha
