Hi everyone, I had a period where I didn't drive my truck for a couple of weeks and when I went to go drive it today, I came to a bunch of tiny baby spiders crawling around the center console, I spent some time to vacuum them up. I came back a few hours later and there were way more, 100s of them. They seem to be coming in and out of the console.

Does anyone have any tips on how to get rid of them?

Just keep vacuuming them up, you will eventually get them all. Probably an adult spider got in while you were opening/closing your doors and laid her pouch in there. Unless there is a steady food supply of bugs, the few stragglers you miss won't last long, they will likely eat each other.

Out of any bugs I could get in my car, spiders don't bother me too much. I can't stand flies and my biggest concern is a ****roach getting in there, yuck!

Lol - the system actually censored c.o.c.k. in the name roach, haha.

Thanks for the advice! I will continue to keep vacuuming them up.

If you are really worried, could set off one of those bug bombs in the truck. Just might smell a little afterwards

Don’t put chemicals like that in your truck. If you want to get rid of the spiders, then it’s pretty simple. Centipedes eat spiders. Just turn loose a colony of centipedes in there. That will do the trick.

So I went back in this morning, vacuumed and clean the entire truck. It looked like most of the had died in the center console. There was a pile of them dead in there. But just as I was finishing wiping everything down. One came up from one of the seams in the console. Something tells me this is not the end.

Then what eats the centipedes. Reminds me of the old lady who swallowed a fly.

Get some peppermint or citrus oil and a spray bottle. 10 or 15 to 1 ratio and spritz around the truck (test on the leather first just in case) or dampen a rag and wipe down the truck.
