Mine is pretty tight as well. The auto braking always kicks in when I’m backing into the garage and makes me think I’ve hit the house even though I’m watching it in the camera. I’ve backed in a lot by now and never hit the house since the zoom on the camera is so good. I usually get it so close you can’t fit your pinky between the truck and the house.

I hear ya! Tight all around. I installed my cabinets to just clear my old 4th gen that was lifted 2" with 35's. Interesting to see how close this 4x2 at normal ride height sits to the lifted 4th gen.

Mines not quite as tight but I did affix some foam to the garage door behind the tailgate in case someone pushes the tailgate release in the cab or key fob while it is parked.
Thats funny I put the foam on the back wall so I could pull ALL the way up.

Try a rubber parking block to help you stop. You don't even have to screw it down. Once your tire hits the rubber it stops immediately. I'm lucky, I've got 6 inches front and back to spare but the rubber block makes it so much easier and I'm more at ease knowing I have more than just the camera and my foot to save my back wall. 20190106_201507.jpg

I have a detached shop/garage for mine that is 22' long but with a 9' garage door my mirrors only clear the opening by about 2" on each side so have to be careful pulling in or out.

The 5th Gen bed height is also about an inch taller no?
