Tailgate

Hello All.
Just picked up a crew sport yesterday. No remote tailgate. Does anyone know if the standard gate just falls when opening or is it supposed to slow drop ?

Fully dampened/assisted tailgate is standard on all trims except tradesman and bighorn.

The sport(assuming you are in Canada) is based off Bighorn so it could not be standard on it.
