Had family come over and check out the new truck. I live in Arizona and everyone uses sunscreen. One family apparently caked it on before sitting on the black leather interior. Grrr.

Noticed the white sunscreen stain a couple days later. Anyone have a safe way to remove it? Don’t want to mess up the new seats!!!

I don’t know if it was lotion or sunscreen but my wifes seat on the way to the beach had a white film. Probably her lotion. I just scrubbed it with a warm damp cloth per the instructions on seat card/ manual instructions on leather care and it came right off.

A quality leather cleaner is definitely a must to keep around. Personally I like to clean and condition my seats quarterly. 2 years of my fat *** sitting in my truck and the leather still looks new.

Google Leather Masters - excellent leather care products

Try any mild detergent diluted with water on a microfiber towel (Dawn is a degreaser), if that doesn't work, any all purpose cleaner should take care of it.

My 22 Limited has the same problem. It wipes right off with a damp towel but comes right back. The seat is seldom if ever used. Really strange...
