The shade on my truck stops halfway no matter what I do, Tilt/fully open.

Push the shade button again

Yep. That’s what I dislike. Defeats the reason for tilt IMO. Tilt to vent but more heat comes in since the shade can‘t be opened only a couple inches.

I can manually move my shade to any position I want with the shade open close button. I'm not understanding the issue

Try to set the pano to tilt. Then close the shade so that it is only open 2 or 3 inches. As soon as you adjust the shade, the pano closes.
