Someone out there will chime in with a bed divider only Shaq would be able to see that costs a few grand. There's a market for it.....
I did see it, but I thought it came with a whole new rail system. I read it was a pain to deal with and may not work with my cover?
A 5' long 2x8 is heavy?
It uses the factory bed rails. I'm not 100% sure but it rides low enough that most covers will work with it. I think your tuxedo sits on top of the bed, if that's the case it will work.
Are you trying to be a ****? Look dude, I don’t want a ****ing 2x8. I appreciate the suggestion, and I thought my response was nice, but it’s not for me. I want something that matches the quality of my truck
Here's the factory divider installed on the OEM rails. It should clear most covers. I did need to clearance the divider rails for the clamps but other have not had to do that. One of the best adds I've made as it let's me keep the golf bag from rolling around and gas cans from spilling.
The MOPAR one? It was part of the Utility package and I love it. It is easy to move around and I got the aftermarket twisty bolts that allow me to make it a bed extender (It was designed originally for this purpose but apparently after 2019, it was removed because of some government regulation thingy.) And I use it for the same purpose you do... That aftermarket piece of wood thing sure sounds tempting though. I could use that as an excuse to buy a saw or something... Shhh, don't tell the wife.
