So I went from a 3500 mega cab with a storage box to the 1500 crew cab. Plenty of passenger room. But storage, not so much. My options are storage box and lose just about 1/2 the bed, or a tonneau top. I don’t generally put high things in the bed, I have a 26’ flat bed if needed.

It is nice to get full sheets of plywood and toss in the bed though. Although I probably can’t do that even if I didn’t have a storage box lol. 5’4” bed.

So, storage box or cover? If I go cover, I’m thinking the hinge one piece like undercover. And then should I get black (hot as hell) or paint grade? Anyone run a paint grade top? Any issues with scratches, etc over the years? They look fairly easy to remove so long as you have two people.
