I have a 2019 RAM 1500 Limited with e-torque. The stop/start amber light turns on, sometimes, when I cross a railroad track or hit a small bump. The stop/start will not work until, sometimes, restart the truck manually. There are times it crosses the track with no affect. My dealer has replaced the hood switch and I was about 12 miles from having it replaced and the amber light came back on as I applied the brakes at my first traffic light. I live in a rural area and the 12 miles were open road so brakes were not applied until the traffic light. I feel something i.e. a connection is loose but... It goes back for diagnosis today. Anyone have ideas?

Thank you for your reply. My VIN is Mileage is 1,258 miles, and servicing dealer is Litchfield Chrysler, Litchfield, MN. The current status as of 8/22/19 it is still in the shop but the tech has diagnosed it requires a NEW computer. It is ordered and I'm to receive my truck back on 8/26/19.

You might want to quote them so they get notification or PM them. Quoted them for you.

Thanks J4U, I do not know how to PM but can quote them as I did not do that when I replied.

Thank you, RVAH-13. We do recommend editing this post to not display your VIN, as it is personal information. To send a private message, click on our profile and select "Start Conversation."
