As far as the steering wheel they are saying I should wait and see if FCA comes up with a fix if it is a reoccurring problem. I said no replace it now and if it happens again will replace it again.
If it were me, I would highlight the safety issues and the potential liability if it led to an accident.

My truck is now back at the dealer once again for more issues. When does it stop ? I have filed for arbitration and lost of course, now I’m stuck with a truck that doesn’t perform per FCA standards but yet no one wants to help.

Hi Beddow05,
I am sorry to hear about you continued concerns with your Ram. I can see from previous conversation that you have had a case opened previously. Would you mind sending me a private message with your VIN so that I can look into your previous cases? I also see below that these are new concerns you are experiencing. If a case has not already been opened regarding these, I would be happy to do so!

I have already gone through a Ram Care specialist last time who did nothing for me. I can call the dealer daily myself and ask them to fix this or that but ultimately it never seems to get resolved. I’m just frustrated with the lack of customer service on FCA’s end. You sell someone a 60k truck it should perform as a 60k truck. I understand that all vehicles have some issues but my truck is less than 8 months old and has been in the shop for major repairs 8x I would say that’s a little excessive.

Manufacturer support is only as good as a dealer's Service Dept. and technicians (think franchise). Have you tried finding a different dealer?

I’m actually going to go back to the one I bought it from and take them all my work orders and see if they are willing to help if not next step is to lawyer up and get my money back.

I totally agree, unfortunately FCA doesn’t care about there customers like some of the other big market names. Toyota may not have all the technology but you don’t see them in the shop often either. Ram is the #1 truck for MFR buybacks and I should have known better. The fortunate part is it a lease and I will continue to nickel and dime then until the truck runs and performs like it should. I could understand if the truck was 3 years old and had some rattles or issues here and there but my truck is 8 months old and has been in the shop 8x which is a little stressful and inconvenient. As far as the steering wheel they are saying I should wait and see if FCA comes up with a fix if it is a reoccurring problem. I said no replace it now and if it happens again will replace it again.
Do you feel a rattle behind the steering wheel?

I feel like I do yes. It’s either behind the gauge cluster or in the steering wheel housing for sure and it’s not constant only on uneven roads. It doesn’t even do it when you hit a large bump.

Search: grinding sound beging steering wheel / air bag. This meber have the same problem and explain what happens. They say that is waiting for a part to repair. I write to them because I need to know the name or number of that part. I am waiting a response for him. Please if you investigate about this situation or have a solution reply. The technician don’t find anything and I don want to leave my truck more days.
