Steering wheel not returning to center

First post to the forum since I just picked up my truck on Friday. 2019 1500 Laramie Sport Crew Cab. Today I was on a short 200 mile trip and noticed my steering when turning to the left was feeling odd. A couple of times the steering wheel would hit a "hard spot" and then pull. Has anyone else had this happen? I am going to get it back to the dealer this week and have it looked at because it was very concerning to have it happen running 80 on the interstate with my small children with me.

"Lane Assist" is probably on. It attempts to steer the truck to keep it in between the lines. You'll feel it pull and it feels like the steering is resisting your input. There is a button on the dash above the radio to toggle it on/off. It can be permanently disabled through settings on the radio.

Thank you! I will give that a look in the morning!

So how did your problem get resolved? I have a similar problem but no “Lane Assist” since I’m in a BigHorn. Feels a bit scary at highway speeds, like something is pulling the steering into the turn even when I don’t want it to.

Found other similar posts, checking on them too. Update: I see many others had the same problem here, and had to convince the dealer to apply a TSB for a steering rack replacement. My turn...
