Hello All, I am looking for help, I have taken my 2019 ram truck to the dealer twice for alignment with new tires the truck still in the morning jerks to the right for the first 2-3 mins and after driving it goes away. Dealer says they can find the problem and they have aligned my tires twice now. I called Ram customer service and of course there is no technical support to speak to ( Ridiculous ). Has anyone encountered this. I have a few ideas on what it can be but would like feed back. My ideas are steering pump, break sensors if it has, break pad to tight etc, or suspension.

If there is a Ram support person in here I would like to speak to you............

My guess would be electrical since the steering is electric . If it was something mechanical I don’t think it would go away after a couple minutes .

Thanks for the advise someone did tell me it was electric but was not sure.

I also read that there was a steering recall? @ramcare, can you please advise me on this.

Hello Joey,

We're sorry to hear about this. If the dealer was unable to diagnose, have you considered getting a second opinion from another dealer in your area? You can see all those near you here: Find a Ram Dealership Near You | Ram Trucks. Additionally, were you given a case number when speaking with Ram Cares? If so, feel free to private message us with that case number. If you'd like us to check for open recalls on your vehicle, please include your VIN.

You'd think if it was electrical it would constantly do it.

My guess would be something with the brakes when cold. After they warm up then stop doing it.

I thought of the brakes as well, but dealer says other wise.

I messaged you directly still waiting for your response!

The steering recall was for 2019s. Some idiot at the plant decided it was alright to substitute the required bolt with one that he thought was similar. In this case, it made a difference.
