Start of 2022 Production.

I figured when I ordered that my truck wouldn't be available until around Christmas, but it's becoming a little discouraging that it may not even be how I ordered :confused:
 
It was pulled a little while back. There are several 2022s that were ordered with Max Steel that have been churned out. If it was accepted with that color selection they're producing it.

I'm tongue in cheek on the power folding mirrors. They're standard on the Limited.
Thats BS if thats the case....i ordered max steel in march on my 21 and had to change the colour in august when they finally decided to switch me over to 22....
 
You're adding the mirror/camera yourself? Or the dealer can do it? And in either case, where would you get the part if they are low on it?
If the dealer is willing to do it yea, otherwise I'll be doing it (shouldn't be too hard).
Assuming its the same as a MY21 mirror should be 68312206AA ($318)
For 2021, 68448639AB is the DRVM for trucks without FCW, and 68448641AB is the DRVM for trucks equipped with FCW.
and CHMSL should be 68444540AB ($380)
plus like $25 for a cable to go from mirror to camera
haven't seen any indication of low stock/backorder

I had heard the rumor of power mirrors, but was told be the RAM rep that they weren’t removing it from Sold orders. Haven’t heard of any ramboxes being deleted. Checked your order and ramboxes are still there.

Are you still in D status? I guess I should check in with my salesman to see if my mirrors have been removed

I ordered my 22 at the end of June. I have fuzzy memory but I want to say it was some time in July when people here on the forums were reporting that their dealers could no longer place an order in Max Steel.
 
I will say that looking at the tracker, I don't see any of us member trucks with Max Steel listed under color with build sheets/window stickers. Perhaps I'm wrong in thinking I've seen some come across the forum?
 
so my dealer emailed me back and said that they are going to talk to their rep. who is conveniently away until monday. i don't expect any good news, and have decide to wait one more month and then i'm throwing in the towel.
 
Saturday will be a week in D1 for me, all I get is all the parts are there and will be built in the next few weeks. I'm going to reach out to my dealer or stop in and get a new copy of my POC to see what dates they have listed on there.
 
So I've been browsing a few different sources with incoming Limiteds. First, sidenote, Mark Dodge has TWO rebels incoming both are listed with power folding mirrors.

Anyway, one thing I've noticed with ALL the Limiteds I've found is that NONE of the ones that are in transit have the Off Road Group. Is this a possible hang up? I wonder how many of us that are non-Rebel orders have ORG and they're prioritizing those components for Rebel builds to get those orders built out. Any ideas @Eighty ?
Just did a search on all the build sheets I have (over 29,000). I come up with 79 Limiteds with ORG.
 
Does anyone know how dealer allocations work? It is the only logical thing I can think of as to why a lower VIN gets delayed being scheduled for build when something in the 190k range goes D1 almost immediately after order. Should be easily refuted if a high VIN Mark Dodge order goes D1 over comparable lower ones.
