Start of 2022 Production.

I also had a delay. I ordered a truck and noticed that they had the 8.4' screen radio. I want the 12' screen so I contacted the dealership to make the change. It set me back two weeks because that little of a change is apparently a whole new order. So... my order date is now 5/7/22. I am impatiently waiting for lottery number to be posted by @triple_B but this forum is awesome and its pretty cool that he has put together such a thing.
 
Shipping company wants to pick up my 2015 that I sold to driveway.com. ETA is 5/16 to 5/30 for my 2022 to get to MD. If I get it in my hands by next Saturday I'm buying everyone in this thread a beer

I hope like hell you get it in that timeframe and in the spirit of kindness you can save the beer $ for gas and you won’t owe any of us a thing. Can’t say we won’t be jealous though!

Mine should be here any day, one state under from the factory and it was in shipping a week ago. 🤞

I got the call from Mark Dodge a few days ago. New truck shipping Saturday, should be here Monday! Hoping this will be "the truck." The crew at MD has been 100 percent from day 1. Logistics guy suggested starting at $1400, I said go $1500 to get it on the way. Insurance already started so I didn't want to waste time going back and forth.

care to keep us posted on what you go through getting your truck registered?
 
I think mine is getting closer to being completed. How are folks getting the status code for their vehicle? I have been checking in with Ram Chat, and they have not been able to provide me with an exact status code. All I get is a statement. Here is the update I received this AM.
"I am showing that your vehicle is in the stage prior to being released by the plant.
Vehicle may have been selected for additional quality inspections or held for delivery purposes.
At Stellantis, you can be assured that we take vehicle quality seriously.
Currently no Dealer ETA has been provided"

Can anyone provide a more deeper insight as to where my truck is in the process and what may be happening?

status codes are only available from your dealer through dealer connect.

ram chat is a make you feel good site and nothing more.

I will do that.
Unfortunately the driver just called - he said the truck will now be here Tuesday. He said he "had mechanical issues." Waiting one more day isn't a giant deal, but it's making me wonder if he's telling me the truth. Very concerning and disappointing. I reached out to Mark Dodge to see if they've used this company before.

This is the message I got today. To be honest, I prefer it to be towards the end of that estimate and take my chances on June incentives.

Here is what I got from my dealership about 10 min ago. I don’t exactly know what that means but hopefully I’m waiting for shipment. ha
What sort of incentives are coming out next month? I looked online and didn’t see anything special coming out next month.

I'd say you are right in the middle of the process where it's built, but not exactly ready to be shipped. JS is before KZ. Look at the link I provided.

I don't know what incentives will be out in June, I just want to take a chance that they may be better than what is out there in May

It won't go into the chart. You have an HD truck - we're not tracking HDs on this forum. You'll need to head over to the HDRams forum (they have a tracker going over there too).

Just curious about the timing of production and Build sheet and Window sticker. Asking this because my build sheet was issued one day and the window sticker the next day. My build sheet was issued on Friday 5/13 and window sticker on Saturday 5/14. And this included going to the accessory plant to have the Bed Utility Group installed. I know it has been posted that target production is around 1,400 trucks per day, but I do not know the number of "steps" it takes to build the truck.

Does anyone know how long it takes for a truck to be produced ?
  • No accessories, just normal production line.
  • From very start to finish off the line

Is the Build sheet issued before the truck starts production or after some point in production ?
  • Triple B normally says "5 more forum members with trucks starting production" when he finds a build sheet
Is the Window sticker issued after the truck is totally finished and ready to be shipped ?
  • Triple B normally says " 2 more forum members with trucks on the way!" when he finds a window sticker
